Yes, I would recommend a second key fob. I'll probably go back to get another. The cooling system may have many hoses, but it does seem effective. The cabin cooling is excellent, and based on my limited experience you might want to confirm that in other EVs.
The car is more fun to drive than anything I've ever owned, and it isn't even close. While sporty and fast, it is also quiet and feels refined. I'd definitely buy it again, and if my wife doesn't stop taking mine, I might have to.
Yes, I would think Ford could make a NEMA 10-30 adapter available for the mobile charger that would automatically set it to a lower amperage. We already have two adapters included. Maybe they worry these older circuits are not a good everyday plan ....
It is 200 miles to my brother's house, far from any fast charger, and I'd like to use his NEMA 10-30 dryer outlet to get enough charge to make it home. So of course be careful with your home charging outlet, but I can imagine many scenarios where one might want to temporarily use a 30 amp...
I'm not sure how much of the system is devoted to cooling the cabin vs. the battery and mechanicals, but I'm highly impressed with the effectiveness of the AC in the Mach E. By contrast, I rode in a Model X this week in 90+ degree weather and it couldn't keep the cabin comfortably cool. Never...
Yes, he does have quite positive things to say about the Mach E (other than thermal management). Definitely looks to be built as an EV from the ground up, and not a retrofit. I've enjoyed the videos!
Had you specifically asked the dealer to look at that problem? Or was the fix part of a general software update? Wondering what I need to ask of my dealer in order to get this corrected.
Same here with the 2/28 scheduled build. The tracker now says build data of 3/5 (yesterday) but the delivery date has disappeared. It previously showed 4/15.
Wall Street Journal is reporting that Ford is slowing F-150 production due to the industry-wide chip shortage. https://www.wsj.com/articles/fords-2021-to-do-list-is-topped-by-fixing-quality-problems-11612450536?mod=hp_lead_pos6
I would think Ford would only slow F-150 production after it had...

The fact that a few people are actually receiving their vehicles does encourage me, but I feel like the last kid picked for kickball.
Just received an email that my production date is slipping a week to Feb 15th. My relatively early reservation and order - order #10xxx - haven't put me anywhere near front of the queue for whatever reason. I wonder if production was delayed over the same issue causing the rework.

I wonder if Ford could change the traction control behavior when in L, to prioritize getting unstuck in the snow or mud. If so, I assume we could receive it in an over-the-air update.
I think he was intent on comparing the driving dynamics to that of a Mustang coupe, rubbing Ford's nose in the decision to use the Mustang badge. Not a helpful review.
I suspect a few reviewers, like Tech Crunch, were intent on comparing the driving to a GT 500 coupe - maybe their payback over Ford using the Mustang name. Those who compared it to other roomy crossovers seemed well impressed.
