Mine gets worse as the weather gets colder. I think it's something to do with the door metal contracting as it gets colder. They won't be able to fix that.

Maybe Ford realizes that it doesn't work??

Same thing happened to me- it unlocked as soon as I put a jumper box on the 12 volt battery connections. Car needed to be basically rebooted by the dealer to correct the issue

It just doesn’t make sense. The brake pads are defective. Case closed!

Had the TSB repair done a few weeks ago. No noticeable difference. Did not work.

I had a similar problem. They basically just rebooted the car and it's been fine since. As an added precaution I purchased a booster box ($50 bucks at amazon) because I learned if it ever happens again I just need to hook up the booster to the battery and until the error message goes away...

Went to an automatic car wash for the first time yesterday and the charge port door did open but thankfully didn’t break off. Not sure what could be done about it. I’ll try the painters tape

I had the repair done last week. I haven't driven the car on the highway on a cold day yet, but so far I have not really noticed any improvement. I will keep everyone posted.

I just had the repair done(and the brake cable also) . I'll let everyone know if the wind noise is gone when I drive on the hwy in the colder weather

I sent over the TSB to my dealership. Parts are ordered coming in next week

If your car has more than 12,000 miles Ford will not warranty this repair. I just got quoted $1300 bucks. Such bullshit. They admit to a defect and the customer has to pay...
