Another option if available and the one I chose for EZ pass is they make an external transponder that bolts through the license plate on the front of the car.
When first getting used to my 2021 Mach-E i had unintended acceleration. The cruise control button was the culprit, is easy to accidentally engage. Poor position on the steering wheel. It took it happening a couple times before adjusting my hand position.
Since the update it no longer predicts charging time on my ford level 2 charger properly. Also has been hit and miss with the departure time. Seems to have added bugs.
Anyone have any new updates on dc fast chargers from the lakes region and North. Best I can tell fast chargers at Tilton still no working. I know Tesla has some in Lincoln near Loon but does anyone know when they will be opened up for other EV’s to use.
Just had the same 12 vault battery fault error today. Like you it only appeared for a second and went away. The car did sit for 3 or four days of not starting. I have no 3rd party apps only fordpass and the alexa is activated. Hopefully doesnt happen again. Anyone from Ford have any info on this?
I was worried about that also. I was lucky though the day after the software update I had the HJVB failure. The update did prevent the bricking and car was drivable at highway speeds just a little slower acceleration. Ford replaced the HVJB with the newer version and now no more worries.
Ok just an update. The repair/replacement of the HVJB is complete. Got the car back yesterday so it was in shop less than a week. Not too bad. Only noticeable change after the software/recall update is in one pedal mode the braking seems a little softer. Anyone else notice this?
Its serious. I had the software done friday and friday night the HVJB failed anyway. The update kept the car drivable instead of awaiting tow and I was able to drive to dealer where I am waiting for the new HVJB to be installed.
Had the recall update performed at the Dealer yesterday on my 2021 Mach-E california route 1 extended range rwd. Drove about 120 miles and had the High Voltage failure. Kinda relieved to just get the repair done and over with instead of waiting for it to happen.
I hope they add a feature to the trip planner where you can avoid ferries. Probably no a big deal for many but I live near one and it always assumes I would use it. Other navigation systems have avoid ferry options.
I would still say try the one pedal mode it doesnt take long to adjust to it and get that feathered touch. When you need more braking you can still use the brake pedal. I am finding I have to brake a little harder sometimes but for me its from trying to get the most out of the regenerative braking.
