I'm sure you've already checked, but sometimes after an update certain settings get turned off or on. I've never seen it with the mirror setting, but if you haven't checked, look to see if they got toggled off due to the update.

I had this type of call a year and a half ago (maybe more, it was just as the newer version with lane changing was coming out on newer cars). I believe my feedback was that they should offer us this upgrade. It's nice that they ask and listen, but I really wish they would actually do...

I think they already have a fix for this lined up, they will just deactivate the ability to open the frunk remotely, forcing the user to open the driver door to open the frunk. I'm lucky, I actually have had this feature on mine since 2021!

I'm not sure why the lights turn on when opening the rear hatch, but I figure it might be because it's linked to the locking mechanism of the doors. Just like they come on anytime you unlock any of the doors. I'll try thinking, but still do not understand the safety issue aspect.
