I am very disappointed in the Mach E charging procedures. I have set the target level to 80% many times, only to have it reset (on its own) to 100% sometime during the charge. I have tried to figure out - from both the manual and the forums - what the problem is. Why does Ford do this to us? Why...
That makes sense. Maybe the Bay Area dealers got together and had them trucked from KC or where ever. My dealer rep didn't know about it, but he's probably not very high on the "need to know" list. I'm scheduled to pick it up Saturday after I hopefully recover from Covid - contracted on holiday.
Same situation here. My car never seemed to go thru the Richmond rail terminal, but I got a call from my dealer yesterday, and he sent me photos of my car. It was in batch 6133 and originally scheduled to arrive 8/6-8/12.
Congrats! My salesman, at a dealership a little south of Capitol, told me the transport of all cars on trains (to CA) had been stopped for a month or so, and wouldn't start up again until August. Clearly that wasn't the case for you. Hard to figure out the real story these days I suppose. Hope I...
I don't know where my car is. I have the same status as you. My railcar # doesn't work and United Road shows "inactive". So, we wait for the rail traffic to start up again.
I'm still waiting. My window is 8/6 - 8/12. I was told that all rail traffic to Northern CA has been halted for awhile and won't start up until at least August 1.
I don't know the answer to your question, but from what I've read, even the EXPERTS who roam these forums don't know and are confused by Ford's communications.
Well, I decided to try to track my rail car. My dealer gave me the car #. After a very frustrating half hour on CSX phone # (~ 10 calls), I finally got the system to understand my railcar's ID. Then it said the car was "empty" and "released by the customer" I won't try that again!
I was in 6133 also. I entered production on 6/14 and was "built" on 6/15. Nothing has happened since; still says awaiting shipment. Mine is Premium ER RWD.
My car is still in limbo after being built on 6/15. "Activate Vehicle" doesn't work in the FordPass app, so (like some of you) I can't see any miles driven. This morning the Ford site tracking stopped working. And my car is estimated to be delivered in California around 8/12. Maybe they plan to...
Just wait a little longer, maybe til tomorrow, since factory is in Central time zone. I checked a half hour ago, and there was nothing; then a few minutes ago they showed up.
It seems pretty likely (IMHO) that the factory is waiting for hard-to-find parts related to the HVBJB issue. It might be awhile until our cars are built. :(
I'm in batch 6133.
