Has anyone experienced intermittent washer fluid low alarms and been able to fix the issue themselves? My dealership is a 100-mile round trip from home and if there's a simple "self-fix" I'll give it a try before I book yet another repair appointment.

The charge port cover on my MME (RWD ER) seems to have frozen shut. At the moment the temperature outside is about -2C and last night we had a fall of snow, so I'm guessing some moisture has gotten into the mechanism and frozen. It is currently 5.40pm in Scotland and I've been standing outside...
