Well, I live around Chattanooga and frequently drive to the Atlanta airport to pick-up/drop-off people and then come home. That's not even a road trip as such, is it? But I doubt it can be done without a recharge at typical I75 speeds.

I ditched mine....a Premium ER AWD. Didn't buy anything as it was a "I want it" order and our family has 2 functional cars. Just waiting for "getting back to square 1" with incentives. But, it took so long and now other vehicles are appearing that are interesting...

I have never seen one of the "charge curve videos" or "slow charging videos" show this information. Would love to see it!

As for mysteriously slow charging, there is blame to go around. Ford (or anyone) could simply display in the vehicle: - Rate requested N Kw - Rate received M Kw But....maybe the manufacturers want it to be ambiguous...what if the Mach E never requests its advertised charging rate? That would...

Even better, display "Vehicle is requesting N Kw" and "Charger is supplying M Kw" I would think it would be in Ford's interest to clearly show the charger is/isn't providing what the vehicle is requesting (or maybe not if slowness is often the fault of the Mach E)

So all it takes is patience. Various Ford dealers have been calling me about a declined Mach E and asking if I wish "to bid" on it since they expect it to go for "at least" $12K over MSRP... I declined to participate in the auction. May I ask...a 21 GTPE with a mere 2,800 miles on it... why...

Hmmm, I think it makes me want to drive fast and warm, and accept 10 more minutes at the next charger... I don't know....my ER AWD has not arrived yet so maybe my opinion will vary once I actually DO a road trip. ;)

So after all the discussion about wrapping... I love the Vapor Blue (in the pictures.) Personally I wouldn't want to hide it, but I can see the desire to protect it while keeping it visible. I guess I just think the occasional chip is part of life and generally I have been pretty lucky...
