Driving my kid around to school and all of her extra curriculars adds a lot of miles. I've also had some fun long road trips. I enjoy every mile of it, though. Fast charging on road trips isn't as easy as a gas car, but it isn't too bad. The worst part is waiting at full charging stations for an...
You will have the module as it has been proven that even the last '22 models off the line came with it. All you need is to buy the cable to hook up a laptop to the OBDII port so you can use Forscan to program it to work.
I'd be happy to help, but I am down in north San Diego. If you are ever down this way, I can take care of you.
It really is a great feature. Very helpful when hands are full.
I'd love to help you, but I am down in San Diego. Hopefully someone else up in the Bay Area will be able to help. I will say that it is totally worth the small cost to buy the reader, but if you don't have a laptop then that is a bigger obstacle.
I do not believe the Rt1 came with power lift gate. Without a power lift gate, the module to open it would be useless. If you have the power lift gate, then as far as I have seen all '22 models with the power lift gate had the kick-to-open module.
I was able to complete this configuration and I now have a kick-to-open lift gate. It truly is astonishing that Ford would install these modules and then not activate them. It took a bit to figure out how to use Forscan, but with the help of people on this thread, I was able to figure it out. I...
Yes, it is still available. I don't personally know of any installers, but I am sure any competent mechanic in the area would be able to help. E-trailer has a list of local installers, but the closest one was in San Diego and then Ramona. Shoot me a private message if you want to set up a time...
I bought the hitch before my Mach E was delivered. I had planned on selling my other vehicle, but changed my mind. I'll just carry my bikes on the other vehicle since I don't mind it getting dirty.
Brand new Curt hitch for the Mach E. I changed my mind after buying it and never installed it. Local pickup only. New price was over $300. Asking only $150. Comes with all install hardware.
Located in Vista, CA which is north San Diego...
Wow, Ford sure wasn't in a hurry to get that "important" recall update out to all the cars. I have had 3 or 4 updates since I picked up my MME. Hopefully we never get notified to pull over safely.
I second that. My experience went better than most thanks to my dealer being one of the few good ones, but I’ve read so many bad experiences. Without the support of this community, it would have been a lot worse. Educating myself on everything really helped me with my experience and explaining...
