    Stuck Frunk repair experience

From my experience with this it was just one mechanism they ordered. It double latches, but in one mechanism.

    Inventory is accumulating

Walnut Creek is a good dealership. They never marked up above MSRP. We bought there last year for that reason.

Frunk stuck on first latch (used PAAK) final Update

Mine took 3 weeks. They used air wedges to break mine open so had to replace the plastic around the latch as well. Pretty sure the backorder was on the actuator in our case.

Spent 3 hours in a Rivian R1S - comparing it to the Mach E

All controllable via the app actually. Looks like you've now corrected this above. The Gear Tunnel only exists in the R1T, not the R1S. Curious what you were looking at that you thought was the gear tunnel in the R1S? Yes and no. There are speed limiters to which settings you can switch into...

Frunk stuck on first latch (used PAAK) final Update

Youā€™re lucky to have gotten it working again! Mine was stuck and despite lots of attempts to open/close (we tried everythingā€¦) it wouldnā€™t. Long story short the parts were on back order so it was at the dealership 3 weeks just sitting in the lot after they used air wedges to break it open. So...

    Frunk stuck - help!

Unfortunately this just happened to me as well. Is there a diagram somewhere of the latch? Closest dealer is an hour away from where we are right now so hoping to be able to open it and then fully shut it to make that drive.

600 Miles In A Day Feasible?

While 100% -> 5% is optimal for the minimal drive time, obviously everyone needs to optimize for themselves too so I agree. That said, in low temps with headwinds and/or elevation gain 100% -> 5% can be a lot faster than 4 hours.

600 Miles In A Day Feasible?

Have put many 600+ mile days on ours (15.5K in < 6 months) criss crossing the country west to east and back. Definitely possible and a non issue. A couple tips: 1. Always check PlugShare the day of to ensure where youā€™re planning to stop is up and working. 2. Optimal method for minimizing time...

    How to confirm it's locked?

I simply watch for the mirrors to fold in. If folded then itā€™s locked.

    FordPass 4.19.0 Released

Wish I hadnā€™t updated. Now I am prompted to Set Up Phone As Key but I already had PAAK working! Oddly when I approach the car it unlocks and I can start the car with just my phone on me. However, I canā€™t do frunk or windows in the app anymore. When I try to setup PAAK again it just errors out...

    False SecuriAlerts

A got a couple yesterday that were delayed by an hour. Was thinking it was a delay in processing on the servers or something. Possible that was the case?

    still daily commuting/road tripping?

Don't want to jinx it, but got the update yesterday and leave for a 2,400mi road trip on Sunday so no changes here. "What if?" does sit in the back of my mind but that's not changing our plans or the way I drive.

    HVBJB Failure and 22S41 Survey

Got 22S41 installed today at Walnut Creek Ford. Drove I80 up to Truckee (~170 miles with +10K total elevation gain) and no issues yet, but starting a 2,400 trip to northern Michigan on Sunday. Fingers crossed and at the very least I may be updating my poll response soon šŸ˜†

Anyone seen a recall notice show up in Ford Pass or their Ford Account yet?

No notice yet, but when my dealer ran my VIN the recall did come up.

Random "Your Backup Start Passcode was used" message

Just got 2 of these in quick succession as well. Car is parked in front of me. Seems like a bug.

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Donā€™t way to hijack this thread so will keep it short (will be doing a trip report once we get going). But weā€™ll do OR -> CA -> CO -> MI and end in Kansas. Possibly extending all the way to NY depending on timing.

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Planning to do a 3,000+ mi road trip in three weeks with ours. Still sticking to the plan despite the small risk this hits us during that trip.
