  1. Problem with CSP 22P31 and advice going forward

Alas, no. Despite the totality of the Ford organization searching diligently for the needed parts, they remain unavailable. I have nothing positive to report but the flak catchers are exceedingly polite.
  2. Problem with CSP 22P31 and advice going forward

Lemon laws are not applicable. It is under warranty but it's too old and has too many miles.
  3. Problem with CSP 22P31 and advice going forward

Just for follow-up, it is now one month that my MME is at the dealer due to a failed update. I am told that the electronic parking brake actuators need to be replaced but they are not available and there is no timetable for when they might be. I am now the proud owner of a 2 ton paperweight...
  4. Problem with CSP 22P31 and advice going forward

I've been communicating with a customer service person. I emailed him earlier to ask to get a repurchase going. Should I go higher up? Any formulas to calculate what a repurchase amount should be? Thanks.
  5. Problem with CSP 22P31 and advice going forward

Three weeks ago, I took my 2021 MME AWD to the dealer for its 30k service. They performed the 22P31 CSP and as a result, the parking brakes locked up. To try to remedy that, other things were done but without success. Now I'm told that they need to replace some parking brake part on each wheel...
  6. Mach-E Long term storage

I have to admit that I am a rule follower. If Ford says that for long-term storage, the HV battery should be at 50% and the 12v battery disconnected, that is what I plan to do. Coincidentally, my car is at the dealer now for its routine 30K service. I had received a few error messages about a...
  7. Mach-E Long term storage

Can I ask - did you try to charge the 12v battery prior to towing to the dealer and do you know if the 12v is an AGM battery? Thanks.
  8. Mach-E Long term storage

How does leaving the hood open prevent mice from finding a nice spot to nest? I think that my mice are more industrious than yours. Do I need any tools to remove the trim panels?
  9. Mach-E Long term storage

Two questions as I will be storing my MME for 6 months. 1. How do I access the 12v battery? 2. In the past on ICE vehicles, I've disconnected the 12v battery and not used a maintainer. After 6 months and reconnection, the car started. I would like to follow the MME manual and disconnect the...
  10. Maryland to Florida, 1600 miles in an ER RWD Premium: A Series

I apologize in advance as I did not read the entire post, but I just drove from the Florida Keys up to the Baltimore area. I have a red Mach-E and charged in Florence on Saturday, 4/16. If you're on I-95 and looking for a good place to stop, I highly recommend EA in Pooler, GA. It charges by the...
  11. Mach-E's in New York

    Can you get spiedies nearby?
  12. Mach-E's in New York

Some of us Harpur grads don't know what a Binghamton University is.
  13. Navigation crashing

I had the same problem and it was cured by a master reset. I did then setup anew my profile, but I would like to duplicate my profile for my wife, hence my other topic in this forum. It would be a good feature to be able to save and reinstall a profile after a master reset.
  14. How to duplicate a personal profile

I have set up my personal profile and would like to set one up for my wife, but before i go through all the steps again, I was wondering if there is a way to simply make a 2nd profile with all the same selections but with a different name?
  15. PAAK Software Update for Phone-As-Key Bluetooth Connectivity Issue (CSP 21B36)

Please forgive me if this was already mentioned but I did not read through 12 pages of comments. My Fordpass notification says that a power-up software update will be available later this year OR if you're impatient, you can get it done sooner at the dealer. MY PAAK is not perfect but it's not...
  16. Recommended charge percentage

Is there any way to change address that the Ford Pass app assigns to a charger? I live far off the road where my address is located so a street that is closer to my house shows up for my address. Also, is there a method to preemptively set all DCFCs to charge to 80%? I only use them if traveling...
  17. Plug and Charge Working!! (was avoid plug and charge for now)

I've used P & C 6 times now driving from FL to MD along I-95 and it has worked fine. My main issue is with the condition of the restrooms in Walmart. They need to clean them more frequently.
  18. Frunk as a cooler

Thanks to all. We'll take a cooler, use the frunk for not-temperature-critical items.
  19. Reply from Electrify America

Thanks for the advice. I have a Bolt and have set up accounts at all of the charging networks but unfortunately, all of the ID cards are in the Bolt's glove compartment in another state. I did plan out my FL-MD route and all the stops will be EA.
  20. Frunk as a cooler

I'm taking a long road trip soon and was wondering about the insulation qualities of the frunk. How long should a load of ice last? How frequently should I add more? Should I just take a regular cooler?
