Line 24 is after the tax credit for EV, which is on line 20. EV tax credit form tells you to look at line 18.

try to print your tax out and look at 1040 line 18, that should be more than 7,500 to take full tax credit.

8/16/22 cut off is for cars not assembled in North America. You don't have to worry about that with Mach E. That rule is mostly for other EVs such as Rivian, Kia/Hyundai etc where its not assembled in North America.

Did you clear out PAAK data in the car? I had a similar issue yesterday trying to set up PAAK after getting a new phone and I had similar issue as you until I cleared out PAAK from the car's setting. I didn't try master reset so I don't know if that clears out PAAK or not.

I use youtube music on iphone and it does drain the battery a lot. Also, leaving the phone on wireless charging makes the phone get really hot as well.
