I had a battery-related failure on my 7 month old Mach-E in Oct. 2021. By Dec. I gave up on their fixing it and initiated the Buy Back program. Ford was absolutely stellar in the process and refunded all my money, which they got back with more when a was able to get a 2022 in April 2022. The...
For the last few days there has been an unpleasant odor in the car, noticeable when it has been all closed up, but gone with some ventilation. Today when I closed the rear hatch, I noticed several drops of water dripping from the interior bottom as it lowered down. Might they be related? Any...
This has been my experience. Stop Safely Now first appeared Sept 7. Our local dealer reprogrammed stuff and it worked. . . for awhile. Driving through Colorado on Oct 6 it happened again. Car has been sitting at the Colorado dealer since then. Last Friday, December 3rd, eight weeks later...
My Mach-E is still up at Castle Rock. I got the same report today, that they don't know what to do other than wait for the "Stop Safely Now" message and the limp mode to reoccur. It sounds like your dealer has given you back the car to await just that. Unfortunately I'm a state away from the...
One would think Ford would appreciate your willingness to hang in there. As more of us run into this problem, one would think Ford would move more quickly, even if they have to replace the whole battery pack. Do they really want a reputation for unreliability for the Mach-E? More and more BEVs...
My Mach-E sits at the Castle Rock Fords dealer where it died on a trip to Colorado. I fear it has he same problem, but it hasn't yet even been diagnosed. I fear the delay when they know what to order. Both Castle Rock and Capital Ford here in Santa Fe have been very helpful. I would hope...
I accept that this is the first year of a new car with complex technology. I have had good help from my home dealer Capitol Ford providing me a loaner, from Castle Rock Ford moving forward with repair and from Ford in birddogging the process. I thank them all.
We've had our Mach-E for 7 months but had made no big trips till this month. On one of them I check the mileage at the beginning and the range. Drove 150 miles or so and he range only went down 120. Interesting .
Had the TSB 21-2245 issue in early September when the dreaded Stop Safely Now message popped up. The car wouldn't move. 20 minutes later the SSN was gone and I drove it to our home dealer,. Capitol Ford. They did all the indicated updates and all was well.
Then, last Wednesday, while...
In the last two months I seem to be using twice the amount of cellular data as in the past. Might that be because I use Sync4 to connect to Apple Car Play?
I have encountered the curious effect that after driving the Mach-E the ringer volume has been raised to maximum volume. It could be either because the Ford Pass is open on my iPhone or the iPhone connected to the Mach-E through bluetooth. Has anyone else experienced this?
