Hey @Ford Motor Company, this thread just confirmed that I won't be renewing BlueCruise. You also just lost one of your biggest advocates, as I own the third Mach-E sold at my dealership and have been proudly advertising this car for you since I got it. No more.
If I'm paying for software...
I would think that a subscription fee includes ensuring the software to use that subscription works. Since you know, we're paying for the ability to use the software.
I would call Ford Customer Service directly and talk to them.
I posted mine above. It varies state to state as there seem to be different regulations. In Texas at least, the minimum rate was 4.25%, which is what FordPass offered to me. The term could be 24, 36, 48, or 60 months. We went with the 60 month, because it's always nice to have the low required...
Just did this last week for our 2021 Mach-E. We're in Texas. The locked interest rate for us was 4.25% (because of Texas regulations according to the FordPass associate) offered at 24, 36, 48, or 60 months.
Ehh... considering that a lot of recalls will cover numerous model years so it'd be silly to have to say each model year in the name. Like with the Ford Pinto, saying the 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976 Ford Pinto recall is ridiculous. It's better to call it the 1978 Ford Pinto recall, as...
I wonder if the fact that 2025 models will have NACS built in is a factor here. A used car means using a dongle at all Tesla stations, and at some point in the future, probably all stations with how things are going.
Question on the diaper. Mine tore when I drove through some very mild flood water and pulled out some of the pins holding it in. I got replacement pins and reattached where I could, but it's obviously not complete.
My question, do we even need the diaper at all? Like should I get a replacement...
I drove through a pretty deep puddle and the felt on the bottom of my Mach-E was definitely ripped. Had to buy new plastic push-ins to reattach what was left. I hate that Ford put felt, a water absorbant material, on the bottom of a CAR!
I'm talking about chargers that in the past have easily put out their max to my car in the past. Electrify America stations rated for 150 kW can charge a 200v car up to 150 kW. I usually would see these putting out 130-140 kW when charging on them.
This is a new issue.
Curious if anybody deals with this. My Mach-E has over 50,000 miles on it now (picked up March 2021), and I've noticed that with some frequency it won't charge faster than 90 kW at an EA 150 kW DCFC, and sometimes limits to like 45 kW. Sometimes I've tried multiple stations with none going over...
Looking to get new tires as my OEMs are nearly bare by this point (43,000 miles). I drive a TON on highways, and all the discussions on tires consistently say range reduction hits more on highway with wider tires. So that's not a logical option for me.
Has anyone bought tires that have...
I got "lucky" and had to replace two of my tires due to a sidewall puncture on one, and I kept the other tire that was fine. Bought a wheel, and now have a full size spare if I ever need it. Not sure about a small size spare.
Depends on how you define approved. I view it as an engineering thing, where they've approved the car can carry roof loads and have increased towing capacity based on further testing of the car. Regardless of the legal approval of it or not, we now know that technically the car can do it.
I...
