Ford Quadruples BlueCruise Price to $800/yr for All Renewals

Encinitas Ford posts the window stickers of all their MachE special orders on their web site. They show 2023 Premium models have BC as Standard Equipment (no 3 yr subscription), and Select models have "BC/3yr subscription" specified in the standard equipment section. To me that means Premium...

3 yrs of Bluecruise on window sticker?

This isn't even about understanding, its the terms of the deal, very much in black and white.. The Navigation feature listed in my window sticker Standard Equipment section Does specify the 3 year subscription. So clearly, Ford specified which of the features in my deal were paid in full, and...

Cuautitlan Plant Mach-E 2023 YTD Production

You responded to my question without even looking at the link? The Lightning is not itemized by plant or model production numbers.

Cuautitlan Plant Mach-E 2023 YTD Production

Interesting. ....MachE production now matching Mustang ICE production. Why is the Lightning production not listed/broken out? What is the source for these numbers?

California Wants To Make Bidirectional Charging Mandatory For New Electric Vehicles

There are many safety reasons this can and should be mandated by the state as the technology is developed and available. Bi-directional is a safety feature - like seat belts and anti-lock brakes. Because if someone is out of charge, stuck on the road in the middle of nowhere, then any EV...

California Wants To Make Bidirectional Charging Mandatory For New Electric Vehicles

It's always amusing (not) to read comments who are so eager to blame "the state" for the business operations of for-profit, publically traded companies. Sheesh, stop with the knee jerk government hate already. Take it somewhere else.

If not a Mach-E (or other EVs), what to buy today

Since their latest price drops, I have to agree.

If not a Mach-E (or other EVs), what to buy today

For those who need to finance, nobody offers a program like Ford Options. Being able to take advantage of the Fed credit while also maintaining the flexibility that a lease program offers was a genius move on Ford's part.

California Wants To Make Bidirectional Charging Mandatory For New Electric Vehicles

Thank you for this comment and information. Information, btw, that is readily available to anyone who is contemplating forming an opinion before understanding or knowing the facts. The intentional ignorance eagerly displayed by more than a few in this forum is very disappointing.

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

I have the same experience as you - stuck on 3.5.4 since early Dec, then 3.6.1 updated late last week and the next night I got 3.6.2. Didn't do anything different. FYI for those who have not received it yet, 3.6.2 is a good one - it updates the GOM and it's now far more accurate. Before...

One pedal drive (vs) Brake regen

Thank you, this might be the most accurate and useful comments in this entire dreadful thread.

One pedal drive (vs) Brake regen

If you knew how to use 1PD, you wouldn't make these ridiculous statements.

One pedal drive (vs) Brake regen

Yes, absolutely true, with one caveat...in 1PD, regenerative braking is 100%. In 2PD, its much harder to get 100% regen as you cannot tell when depressing the brake pedal the point at which friction braking kicks in (reducing efficiency). I've tested this (I'm very good at both). I avg. above...

One pedal drive (vs) Brake regen

Coasting is great, when you want to save gas or brake pads. You are correct, in 2PD, you can coast all day....regen only kicks in when you press the brake pedal. The same is not true in 1PD - regen kicks in as soon as you ease off the gas pedal far enough.
