#1142, April -> June
I’ll be honest, I’m in the market for a 3-row family hauler and every day Ford is making it easier for me to give up my MME for the EV9 or Grand Highlander or whatever we end up with, vs trading in my wife’s car.
To get semantic about it, they haven’t yet met their April commitment (says an April reservation holder that has not yet received a shipping notification).
Batteries are happiest around 50%, but based on past polls in the forum, seems like most of us charge between 80-90% on the regular. If 80% serves your needs, go with that.
Your order number is 3630 and, outside of the few 8000 mishaps, they’ve only shipped the first 1000 or so orders. You’re still 2600 away. Any other company could ship 2600 widgets by breakfast tomorrow morning, but given the speed Ford is shipping these things, you probably are looking at May.
It should be right at the top — you may need to sit on that page for a minute or two and let it fully load before the box pops up out of nowhere (I had to, at least).
Which version? The VMCU is not the same as the Power-Up over-the-air updates. Post your VIN over in the FDRS lookup thread and someone can tell you if you’re current or not (for what it’s worth, almost none of us are ever truly up to date).
That will work for L2 Tesla Destination Chargers. If you’re looking to plug in at Superchargers, you’ll need a CCS adapter, not a J1772. Currently your only non-Ford options are A2Z and Lectron.
Thanks! I’ll get these up this weekend. Do you have any more info on the HV-BAT one? I see references to it in forums, but I can’t seem to find detailed release notes.
