Im in Cali, I dont have a front plate and Iāve had the car over a year. Generally where I am, it is not something they would pull you over for. Theyād pull you over for speeding and if you start sassing back, theyād add requiring a front plate on to your ticket š
Almost at 1 year with my 2022 premium. I love it. Only issues are rare software glitches, but thatās expected when youāre driving a full blown computer. Nothing major though. Best car Iāve owned.
People here also scared me about doing road trips but we did one from the Bay Area to San Diego...
As of yesterday, the Wi-Fi reconnected on its own without a hard reset of the device and itās been connected ever since. No updates to the charger and last update was back on 3/27. The Wi-Fi issue only started 2, maybe 3 weeks ago
Yeah Iāve noticed this. Reset the ChargePoint several times and it reconnects to Wi-Fi for a short time, then drops. No Iāll effects from it with charging though, everything is working fine so I donāt really care much
I charge when the sun is out and my solar is working up to 90% battery. I live in CA so, basically every day lately. That said, I do charge more than I expected before I got the car
I did ceramic on all windows front to back and top. Windshield was nano ceramic. I believe side windows and back are 50-70%, canāt remember. Definitely feel the difference of heat not getting through. And I live in CA but cops do not care about window tint here. Unless you start back...
I received this alert on Wednesday while charging at home from a ChargePoint charger. I have never done DC charging and have a 22 job 2, 2300 miles so far. I made a maintenance appt with ford for today, but canceled it last night as the alert had gone away.
As for updates, I was 6 updates...
I'm trying to figure this one out too, as I don't have a rack yet but already have a Thule XL box. Based on Thule's site, the lift gate should clear if the distance from the front crossbar to the back of the roof where it meets the hatch is 51.25." Eyeballing these photos and measuring on...
same. Installed today and took 15 min, super easy and clean look. My dashcam uses usb-c though, so I had to buy a usb adapter and usb c cable since the Dongar only came with micro and mini usb cables.
Had several quotes, most above $3000; some trying to get me to buy a load management controller. Seemed high so I kept digging. Ended up going with the company that installed my solar panels and it was only $1700 with permitting, not including charger. I live in the Bay Area, CA.
Basically...
This looks accurate to me and what Iām experiencing now. Got my MME towards end of October and Iām getting about 190-200 miles of range now that itās getting colder in NorCal. About 30-40 degrees in the morning here.
I didnāt start a new thread about it since everyone that does gets told to...
Congrats Bigfeets (and all others)! It's been frustrating even on my end hearing the lot of you say how long it took for the shipping and delivery, but I'm finally happy to hear everyone (I think?) has theirs now. Hope your daughter is enjoying it!
yup, I just noticed this update this morning. I also noticed thereās a sketch pad? Not sure if that was there before, but I probably have no use for it. Kids canāt sit in the front seat yet :p
I gathered a bunch of information about price protection as ammo if I needed to argue it when purchasing at the dealer. This forum helped for sure. Granted I didnāt have to use it as my dealer honored everything out of the gate, but itās good to have on hand.
here is the ford memo about price...
I ordered 12/7, dealer accepted on 12/8 and i received price protection from my dealer. Dealers get reimbursed the difference from Ford. So if they arenāt honoring price protection, they are double dipping. Shady dealer if theyāre trying to pull that
