Do you want to trade places???
Ford is doing a great thing for Mach e travel with the Tesla charging deal. I don't have any long distance travel planned but the anticipation is tough. And yes I will at least test it the day it arrives.
My wife (it's her daily driver) and our long distance car, loves it.
I would only buy and EV if I can charge at home. Really convenient and a lot less cost than DC fast chargers.
There is a significant learning curve owning an EV (any EV) and planning longer distance travel.
Glad we bought it...
You can control how much air goes to the lower and upper vents. I had it set to shoot all the air to the lower vents once and wondered why I wasn't getting enough cold air. Now I have it set a better balance and I'm happy with the AC.
I use torque a few times a month just because. Interesting to see the charge rate, horse power, soc of the 12 v battery. But I never checked the fault codes.
Well I just checked and no codes are stored in the ECU. I think that's good news.
Now off the change the oil.
in the Moke not the Mache.
I don't have Charge Assist, but I got an update that says I can now use the Tesla chargers. The map shows them too. But no charge assist. I also don't have the adapter until May. Hopefully I'll have Charge assist by then.
There have been a few times I've stated to get into my wife's MME with my key fob and the seat was in her position. too tight for me. I never correlated it with an update or the position of her key fob just had to hit the #2 on the door before I could get in. And it hasn't happened the last 5...
Depends on what is being charged for each minute vs KW. compare the per minute price to delivers 1 KWH the per KWH price for each station and you'll know. each station may be charging different prices too.
I have not used the tesla chargers yet, but using the app and seeing the pricing I was...
Just checked today. The tesla chargers that work for us did not show when I looked for chargers in the ford app in the car. However, when I used the ford app on my phone it showed the tesla chargers, location, how many were available. And it said an adapter was required. I have the adapter...
My ford dealer has 4 or more L2 chargers that are free 24.x7.
I'll have to see if they offer DCFastCharging? And if there is a cost?
I would not rely on any dealerships for long distance trips.
The site was overloaded and kept saying come back later. I just switched browsers (Chrome, Tor, and Edge) until one of them worked. It said I had reserved my adapter. And no email. Well the email was stopped by our network and quarantined and "shredded". I got IT to forward it to me. and...
I THINK I reserved mine. It said I did, then I never received an email but the option to order is off my connected services page now. I'll keep checking to see if Im in the order book.
Love the car. And this will make trips more fun.
I"ve used it twice. First for the 10k they picked it up and brought it back the same day. Nice.
They also did a update that they had to do (not me and not over the air). Two guys showed up and did the update in my driveway.
Good going Beach Ford!!
I did a lot of looking at how I wanted to install my charger in the garage. This circuit has more power going through it than my two AC units for a constant 4 to maybe 6 hours.
You can buy the receptacle for $9.95 at home depot - Don't go cheap here. The residential grade is too iffy. Their...
