That is my point exactly. Your cheap scanner doesn't have the ability to read the data you need to make a proper diagnosis. All it can do is read the most basic data reported by the ECM. You need to dig way deeper to get a clear picture of what is going on.

It just proves that ratings and reviews are not the most reliable. When I bought mine it had the highest rating of any charger. In Hindsight I may have chosen something else.

Mine works fine on Android. I also am not a fan of the limited software. The software is clunky and seems like it is in beginning stages. Maybe they will give it some updates in the future.
