FORScan is a program you simply download to a laptop. You need to buy a cable to connect to the car. Something like an OBDLink EX will work well.

Do you think the IPC is a prerequisite for the APIM?

I would say you’re probably on 6.7.0 now. The battery optimization updated your GFM which is what that numbered update did.

Start with the APIM, and if that releases a GWM, do that until all GWM, APIM and TCU updates no longer show. From there I'd do the powertrain set.

I would like to think that it keeps the 12v from depleting so much, or charges it prior to installing updates. This would solve installation issues for many owners who drive infrequently.

My last list had a TCU listed, but I guess 23-PU1113-UNX-DC took care of that? I’m hoping 6.70 will be released again to take care of the GFM/BCM and maybe release a newer IPC so I can enable the power meter.
