Well, that was short live.
Since this post i kept checking it.
Refused any phone updates.
Yesterday i got the latest powerup 4.2.1
And the phone is broken again.
Clearly it's Ford not Samsung...
No update to phone, both phone and sync had several chances to reboot in the last few months.
I'm well aware that it will possibly break again. But hey, for now, i'll enjoy being able to make (and end) calls normally for as long as it lasts!
Hi all,
This week, I noticed my phone is now fixed. I can now hang up a call normally without the unit staying in limbo and the phone disconnecting after 30-40 seconds.
I have not received a power up on a few weeks nor did I update my phone.
Does anyone know if Ford pushes updates to...
So far nothing new. I've complained to Ford about it.
If it was easy, i would modify the actual damper door so it can never be closed but it appears a bit too deep.
Also, since 4.1.2, randomly while driving, "Drive mode unavailable" and it kicked me out of whisper into Engage. Try to switch back, same error message, wait a few seconds then i can switch back.
FORD, all these problems are reported here by multiple users across multiple trim levels, you...
Samsung phones not being able to end a phone call correctly is a pain (not just my car, confirmed in at least one other Mach-E and several other users here).
The random fogging of windows because ford decided it was a good idea to close the air intake damper every now and then, again not just...
Had it too, going down the highway in Whisper mode, all of a sudden, i'm in Engage and i get the "drive mode not available" message... I was on cruise control not touching anything...
I'm on 4.1.3 and this is the first time it does that since new.
I've had bluetooth issues for months. Samsung phone.
I can make a call, just can't hang up. Seems a lot of people on Sync4 have this issue.
When you hang-up, the phone actually hangs-up, but on the car's display, the call timer is still going. Then about 20 seconds later, the entire phone...
I have occasional bad fogging even using outside air constantly.
I suspect it's when the car closes the outside air every once in a while...
Pretty annoying.
Not sure if it's related to this update, but my windows fog up pretty badly every once in a while. Happens all of a sudden.
Then it clears after 30-40 seconds..
I read that it can be the damper to outside air that the computer shuts to maintain heat.
Well, it traps heat AND moisture...
I hope...
The windows fogging up every time the damper closes is, to me, a problem.
I understand why they decided to do it, but their solution sounds like it was not properly researched.
It should take into account cabin humidity and outside temp.
As an example, the last week where i live the temp is...
Far as i know, those led's are active even when bluecruise is off. So if you only feel headaches when bluecruise is on, that's not it......or placebo effect....
