FORD just doesn't seem to get it. This is the exact reason I sold my 2022 GTPE after 2 months. I know it seems to only happen to a small number of cars, but a known problem SHOULD BE FIXED!
The fact that I keep drifting back to this forum shows me I really liked the car, but until this is...
The fact that I keep coming back to read this forum after I sold my MME speaks to how much I really did like that car. . . but GOOD LORDY I'm glad I sold it while I still make some $$$. Ford's response to the HVJB still pisses me off. But I still havn't cancelled my Lightning order. (But if...
I sold my 2022 GTPE (Sticker MSRP $73,205) to Carvana for $71,000 back in Sep 2022. It was only 3 months old at the time & I sold more because I didn't like the way Ford was responding to the HVB issue than some foresight on used car prices. But I do remember that the dealers I spoke to at the...
I'm with SDGE in San Diego. They charge a PICA rate which ensures any money the utility spent to procure power based on past needs will continue to be paid by all. (Not the exact wording.) Additionally, any electricity I generate from my solar panels is used by my "neighbors" and they pay the...
I always luv & encourage these types of discussions, but comparing a MME & a Maverick is apples to carrots. (Unless one owns both, which I suppose is the OPs point.)
I was getting 3.1 M/kWh in my GTPE. I have to imagine that would be better than I would get in a 2022 ICE GT?
Clarification: I have solar, so my prior post is what SDG&E charges, not what I "pay".
Since my system currently generates all I need, & assuming my system performs up to warranty specs (& I don't pay off my loan early) I will be paying:
$0.061 / kWh for the next 23 years.
$0.049 / kWh if I pay...
Rates in San Diego area. But with as much juice as my EVs use I will charge during Super-Off Peak & try to minimize during On-Peak times.
From 202 to now the prices (under this plan) have increased:
Summer Winter
On-Peak: 27% 63%...
Ya, I knew I might have to sell it last month. . . but I liked the car too much. Should have pulled the trigger last month.
Hoping things will turn around & I will get back in the market in 2023!
I'm in San Diego, so regional value may vary. For my 2022 GTPE (Sticker MSRP $73,205) I got the following offers:
Carvana: $71,000
Carmax: $66,000 (was $69,000 last month)
Local Dealers#1: $66,000 - 68,000
Driveway: $64,000
Local Dealer#2: $58,000 (Where I bought the car!!!!)
I tried...
I believe they are both considered a loan, so when it comes to selling your MME it would make no difference which you have (Options or traditional loan).
Is it possible to add a car ordered at the dealership to my ford.com account so I can just monitor everything in one place? I have one that I ordered online that shows up via ford.com, but one that I ordered at a dealership which does not.
As I've been doing research I've come across this from an IRS page:
"In most situations, the basis of an asset is its cost to you. The cost is the amount you pay for it in cash, debt obligations, and other property or services. Cost includes sales tax and other expenses connected with the...
I have not decided to sell my Mach-e, but since I am considering it I thought I would ask the forum members some questions as I believe some of y'all have gone through this process. Some specifics:
MME GTPE
Sale Price: $70,530.00
Sales Tax: $ 6,178.81
Other Fees: $ 879.00
Sub...
I would not walk away.
(Pre-planning) confirm when ordering NO mark-ups & NO add-ons. Verbally is fine initially, but should be followed up/confirmed via email. (For the consumer, this is one of the largest purchases they make, but for the dealer/salesman, it is 1 of the 15 people they talked...
I have to admit this Russian-Roulette "when will my HVBJB fail" issue, & Ford's lacking response, has me concerned. I know many feel "drive it till it breaks & get the new part", but I feel more & more that this is a f*@ked up position for Ford to take. I haven't sold my GTPE yet because:
