Says it added 10 miles, didn't. only added 0.5kWh, added none. Also selecting charge to 100% does nothing other then make it claim its charging but no energy transfer. This was after taking it for a short drive to see if that helped
Called Ford Credit, and after an hour of calls and getting to the supervisor's supervisor they said they'd call me back within 14 business days with an answer, sigh
So it has once again stopped charging even without a scheduled time.
I did a test where I switched from using my Grizzl-e to using the travel charger (same nema 14-50 plug though) and it worked. so then i switched back to my Grizzl-e and it worked again for a few days now its back to not...
This person on reddit () is claiming they got offered 2.5% which would be great. Not as good as the 1.9% I'm currently on but much better than anything I've found on the market
So I went and removed the scheduled time but left the location and it worked. I no longer get better time of day pricing so I guess I'll just keep it like this.
For the past couple weeks my scheduled charging has just not worked. It says it's going to start at 10 yet the next morning I wake up to find it hadn't charged. If I go disable location based charging it immediately kicks off and runs fine.
It's been a bit colder here but the car is in my...
Has anyone reached out to Ford to ask about this? I have the same terms as posted by
macchiaz-o but I'm trying to figure out how this works out
I'll have a $25,398 balloon payment due so if they agree to keep the same monthly payment for 36 months then it seems like I'd pay $29,394.72 (my...
They claim it will be just as good and they have good reviews but I've never used them before.
Is it weird to ask them if they report to carfax? Don't want to come off as sketchy
My wife got into an unfortunate fight with a pole and it damaged our door a bit. We don't want to go through insurance since we have a high deductible and happy to pay cash.
We got a quote from a body shop who said it will be ~$1k to repair the door or ~$2k to replace it. I'm not sure if its...
The body shop believes something came up from the bottom and cracked it. Who knows
Not sure how I could. The body shop thinks something must have hit it so it would be my word that I didn't break the door
I was driving home today and when I pulled into the garage my passenger opened the door and you can hear this very loud click noise. We definitely didn't hit anything and I'm not sure what could have happened other than the cold weather.
Does this need a body shop or anyone have ideas of how...
FYI - i've decided to make this a christmas project for myself to migrate this to android (and maybe windows). Hope @tonesto7 is cool with that and I will definitely open source as well once it's ready :)
With how big thats gotta be (for any of the larger ones, the 3.6kwh one would be kind of useless IMO) I'd probably just rather have Ford tow me to a faster station. Even if they took an hour to pick me up if I could get to an L2 or L3 I'd probably come out ahead
From that image in the "insideevs" post it looks like theres another car manufacturer using the tesla plug. Tesla has always been open about being able to use their plug (https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a35030461/why-other-car-companies-dont-use-tesla-superchargers/) but you basically give up...
Can you post where you saw that? I can't find anything about that and it seems crazy seeing as some tesla stations can't keep up with demand so adding non-teslas would be a pretty bad idea
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS_Big_Sur#Release_history
In 4 months, macOS Big Sur has received 7 updates. They also do staged rollouts (as you can see theres an RC and Beta available). I wouldn't expect a car to be at this scale but I'm also a bit disappointed that it might be months until...
In my one test I charged for 17h31m and got 10%. So if my math is right, that means I got 8.8kWh and I'm getting about 2.6 mi/kWh so in 17.5 hours I got 1.3 miles per hour of charge
