I believe that the pump issue is specifically called out in the scan tool that is used by the dealer. If you suspect it's the pump it's best to not drive your Mach E because if the pump fails much more damage will be the result.

Don't you hate that? Of course it's not an issue for the dealer because he doesn't have to listen to an unusual noise that erodes your confidence in Ford, the Mach E, and the dealership.
