Dealers in Calgary are trying to hose me. I got my first year service for $35. 4 separate dealers last week listed $130 for annual service for the Mach E when calling now. Anybody have any tips around these parts?
Head east to Sask/Manitoba and it's even worse! Really frustrating, they need to step it up big time in Canada.
This service should still be flagged as being a Beta in this part of the country. Can you imagine paying $800/year to drive around the ring roads in Edmonton/Calgary and that's about...
My wife had this happen today to her as well. she didn't think to reboot so drove the 10 minutes without a speedometer. 2022 Rt1, first time I'm aware we've had this in almost 19,000 km's.
I searched for this update name on Google and the only reference (as of this afternoon) was this thread and this random site of TSB's: https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Technical-Service-Bulletin/2022/Ford/Mustang-Mach-E/Electrical-System that seems to show this update with TSB date of Jan 20 and...
In Canada, I've been to Petro Canada stations that were marketed as 200 kW. But if you snoop around and look at the ratings, it's up to 1000 Volts and up to 200 Amps. Guessing these are a similar situation. Annoying how poorly these are labelled. Makes it really hard for most users to...
I would get excited if they actually played "Connect the dots" on major highways in (western) Canada at some point. Right now, the coverage is so sparse it's hard to care much.
Canada's charging landscape really sucks right now, at least across the prairies. If these Petro-Canada ones worked reliably up to advertised speeds, it would at least cover the #1 Hwy but my reality hasn't typically matched that expectation. Sorry to hear you're dealing with that.
Be sure to check in your app, when you are in the departure times page, there is a toggle that says "Allow start when vehicle is unplugged". This must obviously be checked to allow your car to start warming up regardless of charge status on your schedule. My understanding is it won't do...
Loving my newfound efficiency and looking forward to my next road trip where i will now expect to get ~13,000 km out of my battery before I need a charge. So long range anxiety! Best part is, I'm only at 96% drive score so I'm expecting things to only get better from here...
