Well, we're 5 days into ownership and really digging it. I'm considering doing a write up of how set up your Mach E for multiple phones, profiles, etc. I didn't find a lot of info stringing things together and my dealer, although great on some things, didn't know much about the profiling system...

I had a funny exchange with my wife when I said "we might get carpet mats as well" and she reminded me to take dealership the carpet mats that we got with our Chevy bolt that we traded in. In that car we also got the winter protection package and never once used the carpet ones. Not stressed.

Interestingly, I just looked at my sticker and it looks like it shouldn't come with carpet mats.

I don't think we got them with ours. I'll have to check.

We took delivery yesterday of our electric Pony. I have to say that the folks at Fox Ford in Chicago were great. 2 big things: Had all the paperwork ready. We were there for 45 minutes, with 0 pressure on extras. They charged us the price from the order date, not the increased sticker price...

Ours is at the dealership, cleaned up, my and ready to go! Just finishing paperwork this weekend. Fox Ford in Chicago has been good.

I think mine arrived last night, but my salesdude (tm) is sick, so I don't have a pick up date.

Just got this good news from Ford chat. Yesterday was the first day in weeks that I didn't just pop into the ford site to check on delivery timelines. So.... good times! For reference: Build 13 September Shipped 15 September On ramp 6U on the 27th of September. In Chicago...tomorrow?

NICE! Interesting that us Chicago people were shipped a week earlier, and still not here. I'll hold out hope that we'll be delivered early.

One thing is that the order number on that page is not your reservation number. I had to get my order number, which was only 4 digits, from the chat system. Good luck.

We did Fox Ford in the city. I have had very little interaction with them between the order and this weekend. Had some back and forth during the "parking assist delete" time, but outside of that really nothing.

I went by my dealer yesterday so my kids could check out the MME (We ordered without them, and they were hurt.). My wife just noticed that the dealer has a used 21 on the lot for about the same price as our new one. Which was somewhat comforting until I noticed that it was the standard range, not extended. Just need to get that paperwork. :D

Chicago here: AWD Premium - Built on the 13th, shipped on the 15th. Delivery estimate Oct 17-27. I'm now into the "afraid the dealer will try some crap at the last second" phase of the purchase.
