You donāt have an LFP battery.
Ford recommends you not charge above 90% on a daily basis. 100% is fine for occasional long trips. The battery is happiest living its life closest to 50% SOC. Personally, I charge to 80% daily but I donāt hesitate to charge higher when itās needed.
Have them take it off or just not put it on in the first place. Any decent dealer wonāt have a problem with that. Otherwise they are easy to remove with a little heat and fishing line.
My primary concern was not drilling for the front plate. Thankfully they listened and didnāt mangle my new baby.
I donāt use EVgo often, but I did yesterday and it activated very quickly and easily by hitting the activate button in FordPass. Is there any advantage to joining autocharge+? Plug and charge is cool, but not really much different than using FordPass.
The certificate handshake comes from the vehicle, not the adapter. Any brand adapter should work and should not affect P&C, even if not blessed by Ford.
Same. Reservation made. It should roughly coincide with the end of my Ford Options contract. Might not keep it in the end, but it was too tempting at only 100 bucks!
Ford says the vast majority of owners can expect the Supercharger OTA before you receive your adapter. Soā¦ between now and sometime this summer maybe.
I love my MachE, but Fordās OTA process is painful. And not just for this update, but 6.x, the priority updates, blue cruise, etcā¦ If an update...
Just poking around at the poll results, it seems most of those who have received the Tesla supercharger update have 2021 vehicles (a few 2022s). I have a 2023 and the last update I received was SVD-FX. According to the poll, many other 23s are waiting with me.
