It may not be resetting for every trip - My Trips - when you start out does it show 0 miles driven or is it a glitch & stores a previous trip so you accumulate miles?

Congratulations! MME 2022 arrived for me July 19 $7500 federal offset - ordered a 2023 Lightning last week after a Ford corporate email - still goes through the local dealer. Next year Ford corporate said orders will be direct without a dealer except for delivery/MSRP payment.

It just takes a few minutes to open a case. So do you "waste" time by buying adequate home/auto/boat insurance or like me consider it carefully? Other Mach forums have had similar issues and resolutions. EV science is new enough that challenges arise often.
