  1. New version of Blue Cruise ? '23.5 MME coming out - scheduling starts 1/17.

This is true and show's your still the same old legacy automaker. So that would be a reset and from the time you start selling that new car that can be future upgradeable until the point it's 2-3 years old and they prove it can be bettered by receiving most of the new major updates. I can...
  2. Two months after delivery, 3.5.2 to 3.5.3.3, how long to get to 3.5.4?

Just got a message from FordPass 3.5.4 Installed successfully. Ford’s on a roll now.
  3. Two months after delivery, 3.5.2 to 3.5.3.3, how long to get to 3.5.4?

LOL I should have said Lane Change as in the Game! No BC update as far as I know yet to earlier models.
  4. Two months after delivery, 3.5.2 to 3.5.3.3, how long to get to 3.5.4?

We took delivery near the end of September and right after that 3.5.2 came down. Two days ago we received 3.5.3 and 3.5.3.3 right after that. Took a couple of months, but now they seem to be coming. Youtube and those news channels worked well after trying them out in front of the house. I...
  5. Interactive BlueCruise Map is finally live! 🗺️

This link is pretty thorough and explains a lot. Interesting enough they mention an upgrade for software and hardware. Or you can basically add it on a car that wasn’t equipped or your car purchases today can receive updates and enhanced hardware to take advantage of major BC releases in the...
  6. Battery Charge Logs--FordPass app

I can also see all our home charging thats been done. But I have a question. After and while the car is charging, I can see how mah KWH's are being used to charge. After charging is complete I can see the total. But once I close the active charging window, the log's do not display total...
  7. Propulsion Sound On or Off

You mean like a large race roller? :D
  8. Ford engineer comments on GM Sierra EV's familiar display "knob" on Twitter

Looks Tesla-Mach-E-Volvo combined. To Volvos credit, they have used larger tablet displays dated back to 2016 in the XC90. It was built in however and limited buttons in the car. Reasonably responsive but not fast. We had an XC90 Hybrid and it was a pretty nice car.
  9. Tesla announces J1772 Wall Connector Level 2 home charger (charges non-Teslas)

True about the last model. But I want a 48A if I’m going to upgrade from the base Mobil Ford unit. I was set on a JB 48A, until I learned of this Tesla J plug model. Now the JB looks bulky and think the side plug mount will work much better for me. I do like features and the JB does have an...
  10. Tesla announces J1772 Wall Connector Level 2 home charger (charges non-Teslas)

This sounds like the Gen 2. Think many Tesla folks were waiting for features it never delivered and it was just eventually replaced with this Gen 3.
  11. Tesla announces J1772 Wall Connector Level 2 home charger (charges non-Teslas)

Thanks for the info. Well if you find any hidden features so let us know. It’s a great price point for a 48A charger, not to mention these I. Previous form are widely used and should be very reliable. Looks like they have started installing these in the wild already. Pretty cool. Well a move...
  12. Ford engineer comments on GM Sierra EV's familiar display "knob" on Twitter

It’s interesting how GM went in a completely different direction than the Silverado EV’s horizontal wrap around dash display. It looks like they are giving different lines a different style and functionality. I imagine there is a difference of opinion within GM. The Denali does come in at a...
  13. Tesla announces J1772 Wall Connector Level 2 home charger (charges non-Teslas)

Is this the J plug Gen 3? Would enjoy hearing about your results with it. I have been trying to find out what the management/monitoring screens look like as well, but haven’t found much past the setup/config. Or can this work with the Tesla app for our cars? Anything you could post up would...
  14. Ford engineer comments on GM Sierra EV's familiar display "knob" on Twitter

Somewhat redundent I think. Your already use screen real estate to label the buttons, so why not just tap the screen. Pros and cons. You can work HVAC with work gloves on, but you have another button destined for failure. Interesting to see each manufacturers thinking however. Just...
  15. Issues with EA Plug and Charge?

True on that. I guess it would just be literally a memorized station you can recall quickly. For what it’s worth.
  16. Updated CPUs -- who has the skinny on them, versions, etc....

Well we just got the car last month And that’s what it had from the start.
  17. Issues with EA Plug and Charge?

BTW should I be able to save a charging station like one of EA’s as a favorite? I’m only able to save L2 chargers.
  18. Issues with EA Plug and Charge?

Thanks, I like when somebody Knows there stuff! ;)
  19. Updated CPUs -- who has the skinny on them, versions, etc....

At this point if you’re at 3.5.2 at least, the screen responds well. I mean I have no problem dancing around the options. But in time and if you keep the car a few years, it may get quite laggy. Unless Ford just stops certain updates and features to older cars. But this shouldn’t be like ICE...
  20. Issues with EA Plug and Charge?

We had some of the same problems, until today I used this same procedure and was able to use my free Ford charging. Otherwise just plugging in errors out in payment declined and I have payment setup in my Ford wallet and tied to charging. So will put that on EA and wait for there network issues...
