I finally tested out my adapter today.. plug and charge did not work .. do I need to have a payment method set up in the Tesla app for p&c to work ??
I was able to set up payment in Tesla app and initiate the charge from the app .. would be nice to have p&c work
I recently rented a Tesla M3 while in Florida. Charging at the V2 super chargers was a pretty bad experience, worse than EA (at least the EAs that work) .. slow charging rates , crowded chargers .. I assumed there would be more V3 chargers than V2, but looks like that's not the case in Florida...
I got a Solterra once as a loaner from a Subaru dealer. I didn't even know this car existed. But I thought the ride quality was pretty good, it had the usual EV quickness, and it had a 'power meter' which I wish the MME had ..
It mostly just felt and looked like a typical ICE car that happened...
I have been experiencing the static noses for the past couple of months, usually just during startup and first couple of minutes..
Finally took it to the dealer and they told me that a speaker needed to be replaced.. speaker is on order and waiting for it to be replaced .. I think I've seen some...
The way Ford kept closing the order banks for the MME, it made it seem like it was in high demand.. hopefully there aren't too many cancels and the order numbers jump next month..
There weren't that many options last year .. it was pay ADM for a Ford or ioniq etc, wait 10 months to build one...
Really ? It's the opposite for me ! I love being able to pull in head first.. especially with EA chargers, to see the display and how slow it's charging .. cause the car doesn't display that info
Same here .. if the prices were the same today as it was back when I ordered my MME (Feb 22) , I would have probably gone with a MY, even tho there were things I didn't like about .. doesn't justify 15k difference for me
I do wonder with Tesla if they are making too many cars and what they will do when demand slows down .. they can only discount it so much .. and especially since they take so long to come out with new models like the cyber truck ..
I hope Ford doesn't run into the same problem with EVs...
Thought this was interesting, especially the increase in Mach e capacity to 35 jobs per hour..
Assuming they work 2 shifts = 16 hrs a day, 6 days a week .. that would be 3360 MMEs per week .. about 12k per month
Hopefully they have the demand to sell these many MMEs and they should be fine...
