Yeah, I understand their rationale. My point is there aren't cars on dealer lots available to buy at MSRP. That may change soon with the 2023 price increase, especially if/when the fed rebate is reduced.
I tried to buy an MME from Olathe a couple of months ago and as soon as they found out I was from out-of-state, they refused to sell it to me. I'm sure they're great if you live in the KC area.
If you ordered online, you can track at ford.com > My Account > Reservations and Orders.
If you ordered thru a dealer or picked-up someone else's order, you need your VIN and order number to track here: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking. Get the order number from your dealer or try...
To the OP - I'd say relax. Reputable dealers won't do ADM on an ordered car as long as your name is on the order. If a buyer abandons an order, then look-out for ADM.
My experience in ordering many cars is that a dealer won't give you a binding purchase agreement until they have a VIN, which...
Count me among the people that hate to see anyone pay over MSRP, but $5000 over for a 2022 is not bad considering the significant price increase and the uncertainty around rebates for 2023.
10/31 build week, 03xxx VIN, Premium AWD ER
I ordered early on 8/30 and routed to a very high volume dealer in my area. I think dealer choice is a big factor in getting scheduled promptly. I also contacted the dealer a few weeks prior to connect with a salesperson and then followed-up with the...
It makes sense that the market is different in HI given the logistics. I think with 2023 MME price increases and the possible loss of the federal tax rebate, it's going to be pretty hard for most dealers to get ADM in 2023. Teslas and Chevys will have rebates and the Ioniq5/EV6 seem to be...
There are plenty of dealers out there (probably most of them) who won't charge ADM on a customer order. Actually, it's kind of surprising a dealer would ask for ADM on an order because all of their potential customers will go elsewhere. As a result, they won't end up with any abandoned orders...
I've just been told by a dealer that retail ordering is open today but 300A (Premium trim) and extended range battery option are both on hold, meaning they can't be ordered yet. This is from sales guy at my local dealership; time will tell if this info is accurate.
I'm a little confused about ordering methods available right now. I see that one of my local dealers has a configuration tool up that routes a configuration to that dealer. I entered a configuration and got a call from the dealer to confirm it but they didn't request a deposit yet.
- Can the...
Info shared elsewhere on this forum indicates that you will be privately offered a rebate by Ford, to be redeemed against the purchase of a 2023 model of your choosing. Assuming your 2022 does not get scheduled, you would enter a new order for 2023 and use the rebate to lower the price.
Premium gets 19" wheels, funky interior lighting, door sill scuff plates, power passenger seat, power liftgate, LED headlamps, adj headrests, B&O sound. Range on CA Rt1 vs Prem AWD ER should be essentially the same.
