I have solar in Houston and it used to be a good deal with net metering, but now days with the buy back rates being so low, its not worth it anymore. I'd skip it.
I am not too familiar with leg load type car seats, but we have a Chicco KeyFit and Graco 4ever DLX in ours and both are super easy to get in and out of the back seat of our MachE. We use the LATCH anchors for both and can put them in or remove them within a few seconds.
It's normal. It is the sound of the coolant being pumped through the batteries and charging gear to keep it cool. Ours runs at full blast here in Texas when charging in the summer, especially during the middle of the day.
Not really any CCS charging options between Waco and Georgetown. There is EA on the north side of Waco and another between Georgetown and Round Rock. Stop at those.
Waco was just upgraded around last Thanksgiving. That made for an intersting trip from Houston to see family out west of Waco...

Our EZ Tag has worked fine in the dotted area to the right of the mirror. The online account indicates the tag has been read and is not going off of the plate. Have used it in both the Houston and Dallas areas many times.
Fiinally went from 3.5.4 to 3.6.1 overnight last night. 2022 select built in October 2022.
Odd thing about it is that it appears to have downloaded it over the built in AT&T LTE modem instead of my WiFi, which it is connected to. My USG router shows very little traffic from the MachE.
I do not recommend using a standard 100ft "orange cord" for charging. Way too much draw for that. If you need to use an extension cord, it should be at least a 10gauge and no more than 50ft or so.
I am also having trouble with one of them. At my house we have a Chamberlain door opener and a Lift Master swing gate opener, and had no problems at all programming two (left and middle) of the Home Link buttons in the MME.
I tried programming the third button (right) with the fairly new Genie...
