    Bad HV battery being replaced

Wow, a whole sled replacement is interesting. I am guessing it had enough bad cells it didnā€™t make sense to just replace a few, or not able to due to the condition of the pack overall. Sorry to hear, not a common thing especially later model years but Iā€™ve heard a few LFP modules needing...

New FordPass app? Not sure how I feel.

In the history of all things computing, hardware companies generally don't ever do software all that well and so far legacy automotive companies have held that standard of expectation well. With that noted, their all trying to get better, but I fear on the back end programming teams probably...

BlueCruise 1.4 Being Rolled Out Via New Process

Not really sure why this is a bad thing? I was surprised a legacy company decided to reach out to influences to help kick of the SC launch. I mean ford tends to do it for niche things but still what is the "more better" route here, actually curious?

Goodwill Program Information: High Voltage Battery Junction Box (23S56)

Meanwhile, I donā€™t believe anyoneā€™s killed the latest revision yet or did I miss something. I heard Chevy handled the Bolt stuff well, you should go get one of those and bless them with your comments.

Where do you keep your adapters, a poll

Currently we just have the one for the destination chargers which we haven't had to use in the center console. New one, no idea yet but I am starting to get flashbacks to usb-c dongles, oh the dongles.

I need help making sense of this trip!

Itā€™s just gps navigation with added stops, what do you think happens if you ignore it? The ford system is not always the best when picking chargers, it likes to throw random L2 in the mix.

Stolen out of my locked garage

Correct, look up how to remove the speaker. I have a few wedged into our vehicles. You can still find them but good luck ripping your way to them. By the time you get to them, Iā€™ll have the police on the way. So sorry for this and I agree the dealer needs to pay, thatā€™s ridiculous. That...

    CCS to NACS

So this is what I understand as well but a slight thing to mention. CCS and NACS have the ability to communicate over pulse width modulation, so they can infect send vin and manufacture identifiers but no chips are required. So yes Tesla will need to authorize other manufacturers, which is the...

PSA: Keep The Battery Warm So You Have Enough Cabin Heat

Random thought here, but have you seen what happens when the pack is frozen and you go to a DC fast charger. What happens? Guessing if you used the GPS, it would try to warm the pack before you got there, but lets say you didn't do that. I know charging a frozen battery is not good but if you...

    CCS to NACS

I donā€™t understand the condescending remarks and why theyā€™re needed, if anything undermines your argument. I was simply interested to learn if someone found something I didnā€™t see. This is just manufactured fluff. Half of the adapters say they are ā€œsecurity tested, IP67.5(Made Up), and...

    CCS to NACS

The adapters have no identifiable info on them. I donā€™t believe the standard requires them to be ā€œsmart.ā€ Unless someone can link something else but I thought they were just a hardwire reconfigure of pins. if thatā€™s the case, there would be no way to tell other then possible resistance drop...

Android Auto getting EV battery information integrated into Google Maps (starting w/ Mach-E)

Side note, just saw your avatar and love that color with wheel options. Really trying to not buy another MachE. I have this weird dislike buying two of the same thing, you only live once but we love the MachE so much Iā€™d snag another. Sorry off topic comment complete, nothing to see here...

Wow this is great news, I thought Android Auto already had it with Google Maps since it was a native app. I must of read it somewhere.
