We just got rid of our S and got a Lucid Air GT. It's a NICE car (so much more high end feel in both interior and handling than the Tesla) and the range is superb. Husband was a little apprehensive about the charging network but we just took it on a 3.5 hour drive this weekend and didn't have...
Mine is set correctly - plugging in every day is more of a nuisance for me. I don't drive more than a few miles most of the time. I would probably use more energy warming up the batteries than I lose driving on them mostly cold for 4 miles.
Mine no longer works on or off the charger, with the selection to prepare while on the charger selected or unselected. It is very disappointing with the snow and cold. I even put in a new departure time to see if that would work.
I have had departure time set for the same day/time since the week I brought the car home. This is the first week it has not worked. I have my departure time turned on in my app and the prepare cabin off plug turned on. (my car is almost always off plug when that departure time rolls around...
happens to me every once in awhile. i ignore it. i assume that it's the profile being initiated and depending on when that is happening the software sometimes reacts as if the car is moving and throws that error message, even though my seat is in position. i have not noticed if it happens...
I would park in the garage, but there are already two cars in there. The MachE, Tesla and Fusion hybrid all park outside because they are the most driven cars. The charger is in the garage and whomever needs to charge pulls in the spot closest (our driveway is perpendicular to our garage)...
I think that the original person that purchased BC might have a case (depending on how Ford worded the fine print) especially if you bought another Ford vehicle that was BC capable. I would be working hard to get that transferred over even if it was just a credit.
If you buy an appliance for...
I sat in the R3X at a pop up event and it's a beautiful car and people I know with Rivians are fairly happy with them. I will be thinking hard about it when reservations open up. I really like my MachE and right now would be sad to give it up. But in a year or two...
I know about the subscription. My husband has a tesla so he gets the cheaper rate. But still, I only pay 15cents at home. The subscription doesn't save me that much. If I were to ever road trip I would sign up temporarily. And take along someone that could pull the adapter off if it's...
I don't think of my MachE as an SUV. I see the wagon analogy because of the rear storage but I have to tell you that my husband's Tesla S is longer than the MachE. So I think the MachE is a sedan with a big trunk.
We have a 2014 Fusion Hybrid that we love too. The MachE is a better drive...
I tested both my adapters last week at a Tesal supercharger. Super easy but so expensive! The adapters are a little difficult to remove from the Tesla end. I will have to work out more I guess.
Wherever your transponder works the sticker will work. But you could put the sticker in places with a bit of masking tape right now and see if it works and then if it does then stick it for good.
Yes, I keep my foot in place ready to go. The difference is cruise control controls the accelerator for you so I don't have to have a constant push through my foot which is tiring/painful on longer drives because I am old.
Does Ford need to update your car? I get that it can be updated, and if there is a problem an update is necessary. But just because they can update your car over the air does not mean your car needs it. Plenty of cars never get software updates. I realize that this is the direction we are...
You are supposed to be paying attention though. So even if you didn't hear the sound or see the brief warning, you should notice that all the prominent BC graphics go away. Even the lane centering bubble going away is very noticeable when I am driving locally. When I'm driving with lane...
