welp I was contacted last night that my car was delivered. They still have to do their inspection prior to me driving off the lot with it but I can still buy it in 2022!
Dealership has been awesome, the guy checked my shipping while on his day off (no I didn't ask him lol). He said it got to the SLC rail yard, which is a 32 minute drive from the dealership! If its unloaded I'll have to see if they can drive it from the rail yard.
I think part of the issue is that ford doesnt control how these cars are stored or shipped once they enter the railway system. It ends up being at the site until a worker eventually gets to the car due to availability of open rail cars.
Car is in MO, been there for 3 days. The dealership said if it ships out Monday it'll be in SLC within the week and I could have it as soon as this week. But it looks like the estimated delivery date they gave me in the tracker is closer to the date I'll get it which is the 13th-19th.
Same here, however that changed. But I did get confirmation from Ford Chat, who seemed upset they were answering another question about ordering updates lol, did confirm it being built had shipping information but wasn't able to get it for me.
My site updated to built but no shipping. The Ford chat girl said there was no shipping then signed off lol. Guess they are tired of getting questions for updates.
I'll have to hit up my dealer to see if they can pull any shipping notifications. Still says it'll be here by the 13th.
Talked to a ford rep, my vehicle is built with an estimated ship date of 12/13? (hope thats wrong!)
Nothing else has been updated, car says it has an estimated build date of the 7th, the tracker works now too except it says its supposed to be built on the 7th as well.
