I used to set my charging time on my charger to prevent any charging between 8:00 and midnight. As it's winter time and cold, I like to precondition my car before I leave on any trip. having the charger active all day allows the car uses my electricity to do this rather than the battery. I set...
I didn't see the other threads I now see them but they have different titles and not intuitive. Happy for this post to be deleted, or merge with an existing post. For the record I'm now on 6.13 and I haven't seen the issue again.
Parked my car in the barn, but noticed my car seems to think it's moving at one mile an hour, even though it's parked. Never seen this before. I turned it off and turned it back on and it remained. However after returning later in the day it was fine. Just curious if anyone else has seen this. I...
What's the point, you will see what you want to see. This is always the case with photos. The angles hide things. Besides I already said I was obviously wrong and I see the 5 lights.
You know what You're all correct. Obviously I imagined the cones blocking off one space, and when I looked at the chargers on both sides of the RAV4 and I didn't see them plugged in was because they're connected by that invisible cable that I missed. The signs are not there, there are no new...
Whatever you were not there and it's irrelevant anyway. You can't see everything from that angle, if you want to dissect it go ahead but you see an incomplete picture and are making assumptions based on that. You are also taking my line on assumptions out of context. I may have assumed things...
I don't think so license plates are public it was in a public place, and it wasn't doing anything wrong and there was no ridicule of that bolt except for the fact that it looks like a generic Subaru hatchback And that I didn't even recognize it as an EV.
Yep. It's a city lot, you can tell them but nothing happens. If I want to make a point I need to go to a city meeting and the timing is not good for me. If I could I would but for now I vent.
I will draft another letter to the mayor though, but in the meantime venting is good.
It was to
The point of posting it, had it been in the picture I intended it to be, was to vent to fellow EV owners about the situation with free charging while parking at my local city garage. This isn't a one-time thing this is all the time. It's frustrating and annoying that this is allowed...
I change it to reflect that they weren't plugged in, it wasn't really about them being ice or EV It was about parking in a space reserved for EV charging, and not charging an EV. That was my whole point, unfortunately the picture that I wanted to demonstrate the three bays being taken by...
No I didn't check the bolts charger.
There are four bays, the first bay to the right of the RAV4 is undergoing remarking. They added an EV charger there. Is to the left of the parking space, or to the right of the RAV4. This one was not plugged in to any car as it belonged to the space that was...
Not possible on the RAV4, I am 100% sure it was not plugged into anything. I checked the chargers were not plugged in, they were still in the holster, and there was no port open on the side of the car. I thought it might be a plug in hybrid, And I wanted to see if at least one was actually...
Seriously I said this several times, they're upgrading the facilities, they're adding additional chargers. They're repainting the spaces on the ground, but each have a sign in front by the parking space number that says EV parking. There are four chargers for four spaces, I'm not the one making...
It didn't look like a Solterra It look like an impressa. Anls for the photo I was just trying to get a picture of all three abusers, I confirm the Lexus charger wasn't in use and the RAV4 charger wasn't in use, I did assume the middle car was a Subaru, and not plugged in because it wasn't...
I'm not offended, I'm aggravated the people take spaces to charging vehicles and don't charge them, it's enabled by the towns putting them in spaces close to the doors which makes them ideal for lazy people. That combined with no enforcement mechanism means that when you want to charge your car...
Had I have realized the bolt was charging I would have taken a picture of the RAV4 charger not plugged in and the Lexus in front of the EV sign, I didn't realize I would get all this criticism and need to document further. The only thing I thought was that you would say the parking lot was full...
As for the Lexus, There is a big sign on the parking space number you need to look at in order to pay for parking telling you EV only. You have to look at the sign to get the number to pay and it's extremely obvious because it's in green.
