Thanks for all the help, I’m wondering if it’s just easier to use the chargepoint app instead. I guess this leads to the other question I asked: is there a difference between when the app says the car is “conditioning” vs it’s just turned on at my scheduled start time?
I currently run my charger settings through my Mach-E instead of my chargepoint. The reason for this was the “conditioning” function didn’t seem to happen when the chargepoint was dictating things, but the scheduled start etc did (no clue if there’s a difference between the two).
The issue is...
Aside from the charge lost from letting the car condition the battery by running, is there any downside to doing this vs. having it constantly plugged in?
for reference, when I picked up my car there was some confusion about the date to use for incentives because three were listed. The day I ordered it, the day it was confirmed, and a later one he guessed was when Ford Invoiced it. Dates were 3/1, 3/3, and 3/28.
I’ll check that out, honestly it was hard to follow the random price increases and decreases and I kept focusing on the final number, though with the delivery fee seemingly gone Im tempted to just let it be.
no extras fees, it looked like they removed the delivery fee and charged me $230 for docs. I brought x plan up the day the car came and they didn’t care at all bc they said Ford just gives them the money back, but if I had ordered after April I wouldnt Have qualified. I basically put down $45000...
Picked mine up today, easier experience than I expected by far and dealership was very pleasant.
Paid MSRP. Got $1,000 off for doing Ford options, $500 for my deposit, something like $1200 for x-plan. Paid $999 for rim/tire protection. Did ford options for 48 months, 1.4% interest rate so $1572...
I had the same update as you yesterday and it delivered to southeast Michigan today.
spoke with dealership and things seemed like they may be ok: they’re letting me wait until Tuesday to pick it up (due to work schedule), accepting x-plan, and reiterated I’d get whatever the better...
i have no idea if this email means anything and my dealer hasn’t reached out to me, but the website seems to imply that it’s delivered bc the shipping bubble is now filled.
edit: I just checked and it’s there. Honestly it’s the worst timing bc I changed my work schedule due to the delay and I...
From reading some pre-mach e era posts about fords shipping it sounds like RAIL means that the vehicle is being loaded at a rail yard at the factory and ultimately traveling to a rail yard in some location near enough to its final destination where it is then loaded onto a truck to reach the...
I just had a weird update from the live chat. So my delivery date got pushed a week to 10/22-10/29 so I messaged chat to ask if there was an accompanying update. They told me my order now showed as “shipped convoy to ramp 6R Richards-Gebaur” with an accompanying Jack Cooper Transit number.
My...
What does it ultimately feel like when the 5 second drop off happens? I assume the car continues to accelerate but at a reduced rate. Also is the 5 second just for the equivalent for a fully open throttle or is it for any level of acceleration beyond a certain threshold?
I contacted Ford chat and got an unhelpful but maybe illuminating for others response. Mine was on ramp 6R basically at the station in KC. This was the same update I got over the weekend. The customer service rep clarified this update was current as of 10/7 and didn’t have anything since.
I had...
I called KCS today as well and was told the car shows as empty. So my guess is either the mach e is sitting somewhere waiting to be loaded or is loaded and Ford doesn’t have the new rail car number yet.
