Or a $25 membership to the Mustang Club of America.
  2. Pines Lincoln Ford dealer

    Not from this dealership.
  3. Pines Lincoln Ford dealer

I see your point. But the ordering process did not allow for notification of using the x-plan. And there is language in the definition section that would allow for use of this plan. The dealership called after the weekend and advised that they would honor the x-plan pricing.
  4. Pines Lincoln Ford dealer

Bari- they are now accepting the x-plan. The dealership is not informed on how to process this sale. It is different than their usual way of business. Just tell Jorge that you will be using the x-plan (before the delivery of your car). They accept it on other cars, and the mme is not excluded.
  5. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

And today they said they will take x-plan. Huh???? They don’t have their story straight.
  6. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

I know a dealership to add.... They just seemed lost on how to proceed with this sale and tried hard ball tactics. With informed consumers, that is not going to work.
  7. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

I totally agree. It’s great that people thought to reach out to dealers beforehand, but it didn’t seem totally necessary. Especially, if that dealer takes x-plan and that car is not listed as excluded from that pricing.
  8. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

Tried that and you can’t. When you make the reservation, you choose the dealer. Ford gave me a short turn around on paying the $1,000 deposit and I couldn’t get in touch with anyone at Ford. Once you place the $1,000 deposit, they order the car on their “credit.” Whatever the terminology, you...
  9. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

Thanks. I’ve even used x-plan myself at this dealer. I will contact Ford on Monday.

  11. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

Just one thing. They did accept the plan. They processed all of the paperwork and had my loan documents ready to sign. They called us in to come sign and then called back with various lies about the $1,000 deposit. That is when the manager came in with his speech. They retracted AFTER they...
  12. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

Exactly. There is no place to elect for the x-plan. And when you read the language for the final price, it states that it is exclusive of discounts and such. I believe this language would include the x-plan pricing.
  13. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

Thanks. I had this information, but they won’t honor it. They want their extra $2k.
  14. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

I know of another one that will be available after I walk away from this deal!!!!
  15. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

They are a bottom dollar dealership. We went to them for the aviator (after my order had been placed). Same attitude, no budge on the price. We went with a broker who found a car in Doral.
  16. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

This dealer does participate. They had drawn up all of the paperwork with the x-plan. They told us it would take ten minutes to come in and sign the paperwork. And then someone higher up didn’t like the deal and squashed it.
  17. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

 I can wait. It would’ve been nice. But, yes, I think I would have a nagging feeling that I was taken advantage of. I don’t want to live with that feeling.
  18. Pines Ford refusing to honor X-plan

I think the dealer has realized what they have on their hands. They can strong arm me and either get me to agree or make me miserable enough to drop my order. Now they have a car that they can sell for even more. They didn’t order any for the dealership and the salesperson told me he’s had other...
