    Such a slow car!!!

I love the car for the most part, but I have to agree, the performance of the main centerpiece of the interior is awful and probably my biggest complaint. I'm sure it will never happen, but I hope someday we're given to option to upgrade the hardware to something that can handle the OS.

    Unrecognized dashboard symbol

I've been having that issue now and again. I turn on the call, Ford Nav has a destination set, sometimes its my house, sometimes its a random spot. Prior to turning the car off, I never went into Ford Nav. I end up having to go in there and cancel the route.

BlueCruise 1.2 on 2023 Mustang Mach-E hands…off review (by Electrek)

I'm not 100% sure why. I thought maybe the car behind me that I passed sped up last second during the lane change? I was able to try again right after though.

BlueCruise 1.2 on 2023 Mustang Mach-E hands…off review (by Electrek)

You don't need to fully engage the turn signal for it to change lanes. Here's a quick demo of me using it. Also shows how it will move in the lane when you have cars coming to the left or right of you.

    Ford Power-Up 4.2.2

2023 Premium, delivered on Dec 2022, first time getting any notifications about updates. It came with the latest UI changes. I checked the About screen, didn't seem to update though. Still on revision 592 with hands free for 50 years! Still no camera or frunk button. firmware-update?vin=MY_VIN...

    Defaults for Profiles - Phones

I had hoped, based on the profile, it would connect to the correct phone. Even though it will auto-select my profile when I unlock the car, if will always try to connect my wife's phone first.

Poll: Have you gotten OTA 4.1.2 (the UI refresh)?

Our 2023 came with 22280_PRODUCT Revision 592 ..which included the updated UI, dial controls for temp, etc, but didn't include the quick access camera button. Anyone else with a 2023 get any OTA updates yet?

    Why no Pet Mode yet?

Yep, this will be what holds back the the legacy auto companies early on. I'm sure they know it, the software is such a big part of the EV experience now that it has to happen for them to be successful long term. I have list of specific wants and issues but overall the biggest disappointment...

TurboTax IRS Form 8936 Qualified EV Credit Section Now Available

I think that's the piece I've been missing in all of this -- $7500 tax liability which is determined by your earnings -- not how much you paid (or overpaid) on that liability. Thank you sir!

TurboTax IRS Form 8936 Qualified EV Credit Section Now Available

Great! Hope it all works out! I just confirmed the IRS has approved the refund along with the 8936 full credit, direct deposit scheduled for Jan 31st. General note to anyone reading, before I purchased the car, I was confused on how the credit worked. I heard it was a credit that you received...

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

People are stupid, dumb, lazy, don't show respect because they ask a question that is mentioned once on a single line in a 400+ page PDF? This is what people here think of their fellow enthusiasts? Quite the community.

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

Fire up Incognito/Private mode, it should come up. Seems like after you've loaded it up once, it doesn't call it again for awhile (maybe cookie based?) If you reload the page after you get the countryCode call, you will see it won't come back until you close out, and go back into private mode...

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

I'm newer on these forums, and it sounds like this subject has been beat to death over the years, just seems to me as a software solutions architect, if the hardware actually was damaged long term, it shouldn't let me charge to 100% -- and the software should prevent that from happening. Or at...

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

Oh sorry, thank you, my comment was more in general and agreeing with you. I think you're right, people spend a bit too much time trying to squeeze out every drop. :)

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

I'm going to guess that 95%+ of Mach-E owners plug in to 100% every night, don't have an account on these forums, nor have flipped through the manual, and have no idea about buffers, OTA updates, battery conditioning, etc.

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

Well, if Ford doesn't want me to charge to 100% then they can push a software update that prevents that from happening. If they think people are going to read the owner's manual, setup max charge rates, etc, they're kidding themselves.

If you want your Mach-E to get OTA updates - the SOC of the 12V (LVB) must be at least 80-85%

Right, it shouldn't be this broken of a process. 😭 Anyone who wants to update, should be able to update, when an update is pushed to production. The software is such a big part of the experience, they can't keep people locked on old versions. I picked up my 2023 on Dec 1st 2022, I'm lucky I got...

TurboTax IRS Form 8936 Qualified EV Credit Section Now Available

I don't like TurboTax, largely because of their lobbying practices. I've been using https://www.freetaxusa.com for a few years now -- just filed my taxes, and it's been approved by the IRS (took about 1 hour before I got the notice the IRS accepted it). It's free for federal, and $14 for state...
