I do feel fortunate to get the full tax credit, but now that the MME is an SUV again I probably would have been better off on Jan 2 than Dec 30. I will still qualify under the ānewā rules. Honestly, surprised they made the price cuts effective back to 1 Jan. They only started building them in...
After waiting patiently for 3 weeks for my status to switch from built to shipped, the Ford app showed an expected delivery window of 12/19-12/25. The dealer contacted me on 12/8 to let me know the car was still in Mexico and the ETA was 1/24/23. The Ford info eventually updated to 12/26 - 1/1...
Mine finally flipped from in production to awaiting transport Tuesday and then last night to shipped with an estimate of 12/19-12/25. I am in SoCal (desert). Still hopeful to drive my CART1 in 2022!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I was able to see modules by 11/8 and a tear tag by 11/11 but no change in status ā ford.com does not reflect ābuiltā yet. Seems others with a similar timeline have been shipped. Is mine awaiting re-work?
For what itās worth, I ordered a CA RT 1 and thought I would miss the power lift gate, but there are several threads on here about it opening when it shouldnāt, so now I am glad to not have that feature.
I ordered a MY23 CA Route 1 because I wanted AWD and extended range, at a slightly lower price than a premium AWD ER. The one feature I thought I was going to miss is the power liftgate. Now, I am glad not to have that. Too many of these stories.
Ca Route 1, Vapor blue metallic, ordered 8/30 and Iām scheduled for the 11/7 week build as well. Iām also expecting January delivery, but hoping for December for the tax credit. With my luck the car will probably arrive on 1/1.
