Completion of 5K road trip using the A2Z adapter.

Havent charged at Tesla yet, but have my Ford adapter. Heading for a 2k roadtrip soon and will be happy to have backup plan with Tesla chargers. However, due to the awkwardness of the connection (pulling GT bumper over curbs, consuming two stalls, stink eye from Telsa owners), prob will try to...

Installed some mud flaps today - they were desperately needed

I used the AOSK mudflaps for 18 months on my 22 Premium 4X and when I sold it, it had a lifetime efficiency of 3.3 mi/kWh. If there is any range reduction, it is minor (<5%)

Tesla Owner Calls Police on Rivian Driver Using Supercharger

Ooops didnt realize he said it didn't work. Makes sense then. Guess they bought the Tesla to J1772 adapter, not the Tesla to CCS adapter (which doesn't exist on Amazon).

Tesla Owner Calls Police on Rivian Driver Using Supercharger

Seems like a fake story doesn't it, based on some specific details? You cannot just buy a Tesla SUPERCHARGER adapter on Amazon right now, as far as I am aware. You can get them from A2Z or Lectron, but only on their websites. Not from Amazon right now. Unless people are calling the entire...

Recommend the 5Spurs Bronze knobs for regular GT owners

Thanks for sharing some context, @markboris! I definitely would recommend the 5spur knobs! Didn't really occur to me they are anodized but that makes sense. Is the blue color also anodized? I almost went that route for the start button cover at least.

As promised pictures of my new aftermarket wheels

I like the look friend! Those however are possible the absolute least aero wheels you can get. Biggest hit to range possible ha.

Mach-E Lease from Ford: Who do you make payments to?

Update: Called Ford Credit one last time, same old story about having no record of my lease or car in their system. I then demanded written proof that they have no interest in my car and then magically they now see in their system that there was a paperwork glitch and they have been actively...

How often do you plan on using your NACS adapter?

As a homeowner with Level 2 installed, I will rarely need to use the NACS adapter, except when traveling more than 150 miles from my home. I probably only do that like 3-5 times per year. Each trip I can for see stopping at Tesla chargers 1-2 times. Many of the supercharger locations I would...

Ford NACS Adapter has shipped [and NOW ARRIVING]!

Order Number 9000 or so, my adapter was delivered on April 8th. Original delivery estimate was April 2024. Online my order still shows as "In PRoduction".

Mach-E Lease from Ford: Who do you make payments to?

Update: Received my title complete document a few days ago and today registered the car successfully. My dealer did contact Ford Credit but they said they had no record of this vehicle in their system. Dealer assistance was minimal and they confirmed once again everything is done for their...

Mach-E Lease from Ford: Who do you make payments to?

No but that takes a while. Last time it took almost two months to receive that in the mail. Right before temp plates expire...

Mach-E Lease from Ford: Who do you make payments to?

I provided I provided my social over the phone to Ford Credit and the only credit account tied to it was my closed (paid off) one. I also confirmed with the dealer my application had the correct social. I have escalated the issue to my the dealership finance manager but they said their...

Mach-E Lease from Ford: Who do you make payments to?

For the lease, I signed via an iPad in the dealership. It should have been electronic and almost instant getting to the finance company. I've been in comms with both the dealer and Ford Credit the last few days and made zero progress. The dealer says they submitted things correctly to Ford...

Mach-E Lease from Ford: Who do you make payments to?

I took possession of a new 2023 MachE GT about 5 weeks ago from a local dealership, setup as a lease. However, since then I have received no follow up information in the mail or via email. My first lease payment was due about a week ago per my lease contract. With no information received yet...

    2024 Range Improvements

Perhaps they are changing the BMS to allow for more usable battery? Or they tweaked the testing procedure some to give more favorable numbers? Cant imagine there being much difference like this from 2023 to 2024. The only changes are wheels (and perhaps tires), but don't see that making this...

Found one, so all good now. Desperately looking to use/rent an adapter for my new Lightning

Supply of those adapters is very low right now. They are just starting to be produced and shipped. To buy one immediately, your best option would probably be eBay second hand from scalpers, though I don't see any for sale right now on there either.

What do you do with the dealer tramp stamp?

Why are people even worried about this stuff? Literally takes two minutes to remove any decal the put. Either leave it or remove it.

    Is BlueCruise 1.4 worth it?

If they are not going to put out updates in a timely fashion, they can't be charging $75 a month for it. That's bullshit. I wonder if anyone has actually gotten a blue cruise version update. Seems rare. My 2022 premium had version 1.0 for 18 months before I sold It. My 23 GT has 1.2 or 1.3...

    Why am I only 6.3.0?

Honestly updates generally do more harm then good. They always introduce bugs and then you gotta wait for more updates to fix them. I am also on 6.3 and I'm awaiting an update to fix a bug from another update (one where hatch doesn't open fully when the car is locked).
