I have a new Mach E (thank you Ford buy back). It is in the app, and all the current stats show up for it.
When I charge at home, the app puts "home" in the history, and I enter my settings. Then I go to "work" and charge. The "home" info - everything, no history of it at all - is gone, and...
My early build Mach E has been in the shop since February 17, for the HVBJB problem.
Yes, I have a case with Ford, and yesterday I started the buy back process.
I have little faith in the service department. They hardly call, and always have some reason progress isn’t happening.
Here’s my...

A Tesla owner experienced an unsettling issue using the company's app to unlock and drive his white...
(Some of you probably knew this, but some may not)
When I read that the 150,000th Mach E had come off the assembly line, I wondered what number my early build, December, 2020, car is. I was so sure it would be somewhere below 1000. So, I "@Ford"ed, and got a fairly quick answer. The last...
I had Mr. Ed at the dealer today for routine maintenance, and some updates (which, of course, they have an error code they can't get rid of for the frunk, but I took the car home because I need it tomorrow). Any way, they said an update was received from Ford last Friday, from SSSE (?), saying...
@Ford Motor Company ...I just tried to make my windshield recall, and software update, appointment with Marin County Ford. I was told they still aren't doing the recall, and had no knowledge about the software updates. Can you give Marin County Ford a "kick in the butt"? I don't want to...
I received these on my phone’s FordPass, but my husband, on the same account, did not. I would love to read the messages, but neither one will open. I have closed out the app, and turned my phone off/on, but the messages just don’t open..
I haven’t done anything recently to earn points.
Maybe...
I have had my Mach E since February, which means I only received one key fob. As I don’t trust PAAK, I purchased a second fob, and, of course, had the dealership program it.
The new key was $277.95, and programming was $130.00.
After waiting to see if Ford was going to offer anything to buyers...
Thank goodness I took the picture before the other owner came back to his car. He didn’t want to talk or barely acknowledge me. He unlocked the car, got in and drove away.
Hasn’t anyone ever asked him how he likes his car?
Mr. Ed went to the dealership today (and hopefully comes home today), to get another key fob synced to it.
When I was checking in, the service advisor reminded me of the “recall” to update PAAK. I just looked at him… finally he said, “maybe we’ll wait until it is a little more reliable”.
I plugged Mr. Ed in last night, and double checked that it would charge between midnight - 5AM, to 90%. (It has never gotten to 90%, only the mid-80's, which is why I set it there).
We have solar, and a Tesla power wall battery; on a regular, non-car charge night, the power wall stays well...
As I posted a few weeks ago, I received an email invitation to have a Zoom call with Ford engineers; I had it scheduled for this morning.
They got my name/info from an email survey I filled out a while back; I've filled out lots of surveys, so I don't know exactly which one it was...
I press the "Lock" button on the inside of the door to lock the car. The other day, the key was still in the car.
The car did not "beep" or not lock...it locked. Thank goodness I can unlock the door with my phone.
I've looked at the owners' manual, and available settings, and I can not...
This is part of an email I received, to talk about my car with Ford Engineers.
One requirement is that I have to be able to join the meeting on my phone (or tablet), as they want people in their cars to see how they interact with the vehicle.
I have signed up for early June.
"We are...
Do you suddenly have a blue bar under your MPH, when you didn’t before? My Mach E, aka Mr. Ed, has had its share of computer glitches, and time spent at the service department.
When I picked it up last Friday, this bar was suddenly there. Of course, that had me emailing the Ford engineer who...
I took my Mach E in for service...when the car was outside and it is cold (this is California, so 45 or below), the computer goes crazy...the Blind Spot Detection with Cross Traffic, the Park Aid, and the Pre-Collision Assist, along with the camera when in reverse, would not work; the dash board...
