I'm sort of in the same area as you. Although I didn't do the drop/pickup from home, I did get a pickup at the dealership with my rental car which was an F-150. I can't complain about the experience other than that I wish it was an EV rental. Car ended up being done the same day.

Looks like it's fairly widespread. I've got the same 6.8.0 update unsuccessful problem as the rest of you (3 times now). This is different from the typical failure; it does seem to be server related. I'm sure it'll get resolved on their end.

Sorry to revive this thread, but my 6.8.0 (labeled as the frunk ajar update) has also failed 3 or 4 times now. Seems to be something on Ford's end, because it's not the usual "maybe your 12v battery was too low" message. Just says we'll try again soon. Edit: Moving that discussion to...

Yes, it's common for them to be outlawed from April to October usually, because they cause road damage if driven directly on asphalt. But there's a reason they exist for extreme weather conditions. I can't see any pure rubber tire gripping better on *ice* than something with studs, or chains...

When there's ice, only studded will do. That's one reason I like the Winterforces; they're stud-ready. And also they're cheaper :D

Awesome. My experience with the stock all-seasons has been fine; it'll get around in light snow. But it's good to know that dedicated winters make it a veritable snow cat in conditions like that :). If we ever start getting actual winters again, I'll pick up a set. I used to run Winterforce...

This is a great idea, but the price is a bit up there. Can anyone vouch that they're getting at least 15W of charging out of it? (Using an app like ampere or similar)

For those interested, I think the trunk button on the touchscreen has a slight time delay when pressing, at least for me. It always has (maybe to prevent accidental opening?). Try pressing and holding the icon for one or two seconds, and then releasing. That's how it has always opened for me...
