  1. For those waiting on orders, what does the Model Y price drop to $52,990 make you think?

I have not. Didn't really know third partly leasing was a thing. Yes the car I ordered is a Premium AWD.
  2. For those waiting on orders, what does the Model Y price drop to $52,990 make you think?

Dealer is holding my car till Friday to see if Ford makes any moves this week. (I'm doubtful, but I'd hate to just give up my car without waiting as long as I can) After crunching numbers last week with my dealer, there were no lease incentives and without the federal tax credit, it's just hard...
  3. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

Saw someone post about FCA offering the $7,500 up front on leases in a letter sent to dealers. If you build a Jeep 4xe online the rebate officially shows up. Still nothing from Ford as far as I can see online. Seems like a simple way to keep customers happy, but maybe Ford just doesn't care yet...

Didn’t you have an early December original ETA? That hold up at the plant for a lot of us really hurts. I still plan to take the car, but was hopeful for at least the $3,750 credit. Oh well.
  5. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

Yeah at this point I feel like I either need to bite the bullet on the options plan and hope the IRS rules change (highly unlikely for 2023) or discuss leases and once again hope they can pass the savings on in the future. Both options are sadly just all hopes and doubtful anything gets fingered...
  6. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

It sure would be great if they have something figured out mid week for a lot of the early January arrivals. Hopefully they can drop some form of incentive the first week.
  7. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

Is that 45W leasing loophole ($7,500 somehow passed on to dealer or something) thread I saw a few days ago, worth bringing up with dealer for people taking delivery early next week? Or does that not apply for us?
  8. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

Dumb question, is it wishful thinking to actually be hopeful that Ford can convert to SUV class for 2023? I read a lot of people comment that Ford will argue the class, but I don’t know how any of this works or how quickly these things happen or if it’s even possible.
  9. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

So unless the Mach E gets changed to SUV by the IRS by the end of 2023, the majority of our car over $55,000 basically have no benefit from the “options” plan anymore? It’s essentially a lease at this point for most states that don’t have a state level tax credit? Michigan doesn’t have a credit...
  10. 2023 Mach-E priced over $55K & delivered in 2023 will not qualify for tax credit! Latest IRS ruling says Mach-E is a CAR - not SUV !

Can’t wait for my car to arrive on January 3rd with so many unknowns. Just past the cut off of Dec 31, then hear March 2023 is new cut of, now this. Not sure what to believe.
  11. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

For any reference of ramp codes in the future, my code was RZ58 and I believe that is Melvindale, MI. I saw some table of ramp codes floating around somewhere. Makes me believe car is at the end of the train ride. Waiting for truck to the dealership. If I had to guess, my dealer is probably on...
  12. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

Tacking just bumped mine out 10 days for ETA. Now it says 1/5-1/11. Car is 4 hours away, has been sitting for 24 hours. Assume holidays are slowing things down now. good news seems like$7,000 should still be valid during January. Hopefully.
  13. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

Finally got some more detail once it left Muncie, KS. As of today it’s in Peru, Indiana. So maybe sometime next week it will arrive. With the holidays this weekend, not sure how that will affect my December 26th delivery window ETA. Either way I’m glad to see it’s moving closer.
  14. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

Wonder if yours went direct by convoy and skipped the second train.
  15. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

What was your ETA? Fall right in the range?
  16. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

Ann Arbor area. We have a different convoy#. The car is supposed to arrive this week to the dealer. From all the previous comments, we’d still get sent to the Argentine yard, then final train. Still don’t believe this will happen all in 1 week.
  17. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

Car is at the ole Ramp 6R per FC. They did give me a Jack Cooper convoy number but I’d assume that just means onto another train. Can’t track Jack Cooper anymore so that sucks, but I highly doubt they’d truck it all the way to Michigan. Still planned delivery 12/20-12/26. Anyone else get convoy...
  18. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

Haha I always think about posting, but seems like a lot of the same thoughts and comments I would say come from others. Car was stuck in production for 3+ weeks so I had no info for weeks and now it’s on a train somewhere. As of 12/4 it was in Laredo from FC. Still showing delivery by end of...
  19. '23 Build Week 10/31/2022

I’ve been talking with my dealer trying to plan. I know some of you are able to get $2,000 incentive for options plan. My dealer is saying I will get $500, which is probably correct. Not sure if anyone in Michigan with an order date of 8/30 has any further confirmation.
