I'm on the north side of the Minneapolis/St Paul metro and it is still a rare occurrence to see another Mach-E. I drive 10 miles to work 5 days a week and I see a Mach-E maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks. I'm quite certain I've seen more Rivians than Mach-Es, which surprises me. And obviously more...
If you could report back after a couple weeks with your impressions (noise and otherwise) I would really appreciate it. I'm in MN and have had CC2s on my Honda Pilot for 3.5 years now. I love them in the winter.
I'll absolutely be replacing the stock Michelins on my MME (currently 25,000...
Just an FYI that 30% tax credit is not a sure thing like it used to be. I was fully expecting to take advantage of that credit this spring, but after an inordinate amount of time I finally found out that I don't live in an approved area for that credit. The people across the street, however, do...

To the OP, maybe just try once a day around the time you might normally run an errand. Your battery will stay warm for several hours depending on your garage temperature. If you don't use the car that day, you'd only be out a buck or two.
Depending on your home electricity rate, it costs a dollar or two a day to precondition the car.
To the OP, yes, many people have a standing daily departure time set, since we don't have a "Precondition Now" button in the app that we could use an hour before we leave.
Maybe you should at least try owning it in the summer. Then you can see if the benefits and fun of it in nice weather outweigh your minor winter annoyances.
From a strictly financial point of view I'd think you'd lose your shirt if you traded it in after 4-5 months of ownership.
That's a bummer you had all that frustration with your car.
But you sold it, and you're still on a forum about the car you no longer own. And you decide to call current owners "bootlickers". You realize this says more about you than any current owners you're hurling insults at?
