  1. HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY WARNING but disappeared by itself

I experienced basically the same thing a week or so ago. ’21 RWD Ext Range. Only happened once.
  2. Well, Ford, the new "Distance To Empty" algorithm doesn't work . . .

I wonder if it is using the “car temperature” instead of the outside temperature when first starting a trip. I keep my car in a garage so it always starts warmer than what most of the trip will be at.
  3. Steering column clicking

I just got my car back from the dealer to look a this clicking sound. They checked some things in the steering column and said everything looked good. And they said that faint clicking sound I was hearing was "normal". Said they compared it to a new Mach E on their lot. I don't know. I don't...
  4. CarPlay keeps disconnecting

I have also recently started getting CarPlay disconnects. But mine happen at the same spot on my drive to work every day. On Hwy 75 in Richardson, TX in front of the old Nortel building. Hasn’t always done that, just started recently. Curious if any other North Dallas MME owners see the same...
  5. Steering column clicking

Any updates on this? I’m hearing something similar on my MME and I’m wondering if there is any point in having the dealer look at it.
  6. OK to charge when battery has 40-50 percent left back to 80% ?

I thought I read that the real reason Ford recommended limiting the daily charge was for efficiency sake. At high SOC %, the benefits of brake regen is limited because the system can’t push as much charge into the battery as quickly. But it’s not that big a deal.
  7. The Eye Nanny and Progressive Lenses

My new theory is it’s just the frame of my glasses that is getting in the way. My glasses are on the smallish side but my prescription is more on the “coke bottle” side. So the amount of refraction it is doing means when I can see the EN through the very bottom of my glasses, from the EN’s point...
  8. The Eye Nanny and Progressive Lenses

Could be part of it. I’m 6’ tall And tend to sit up a little straighter in the car.
  9. The Eye Nanny and Progressive Lenses

Just got my Blue Cruise update and I wondered if anybody else has experienced the same quirk I’m seeing. I was getting “Watch the Road” (WtR) warnings even when I was staring straight out the front window. Very frustrating. I wear prescription glasses with every coating known to man on them so I...
  10. BlueCruise going out OTA to regular plebs (non-EA owners)!

I got 2.7.1 yesterday and I never applied for the EA program. My car was built in Feb 2021.
  11. Powerup renaming is happening

That’s ok. At least we have some “movement”.
  12. Trip Experience: Areas where Chargers being "ICEed" out / EV vandalism is (sadly) common

Banning the sale of gas powered vehicles and implying you are destroying the planet if you own one doesn’t help the situation.
  13. Adding Seat Tilt?

No I haven’t. Once I got my Mach E, I found the seat to be reasonably comfortable as is.
  14. Blue Cruise is useless if it can't take a curve

Lucky for me, I live in Texas. I had to look up the definition of “curve”.
  15. Turn signal indicator lights and sound not synced

I have noticed it a couple of times.
  16. Pano roof - why all the hate?

I too was worried about this as I am severely folically challenged (and in Texas) and I don’t notice any heat on my head. Very happy with the pano roof.
  17. OTA 1.6.0 Power-Up Installed

Also just got 1.6. My car was built on 2/27 if we are tracking that.
  18. Condensation in mirror turn signal light

You might search the owners manual. Seems like I remember it saying this was normal and should go away. EDIT: Never mind. I was thinking about the headlights.
  19. Bolt Outselling Mach E

Yeah, this was me. I have a Volt (my daughter drives it now) and I get a flyer from the local Chevy dealer every week or two trying to get me to upgrade to a Bolt. The price is incredibly low. But for me, the styling of the Bolt was a nonstarter.
