I get it but I would hate to be on the end of someone hurt by a backup when they do a vehicle inspection and find out you intentionally disabled a safety feature. That will help them get a lot more money.
I preordered a Star White Mach E Premium RWD, set up all the dealer stuff (1500 clean air POS) and x plan breakdown, but also just got a house and not sure the timing is right for me to get the car.
My buddy was going to take it but I think he's not sure now, so if you can't wait, there may...
I have a buddy who wants one immediately and I could afford to wait a few months so we were going to swap reservations.
Has anyone transferred their reservation to another person and kept their Xplan deal? Any difficulty? Any thoughts would be helpful.
More like sharing it with the group and getting some feedback? There's already threads for dealers that refund/no refund deposits, sell at msrp/mark up beyond msrp, or honor xplan/not honor xplan.
Why is this any different? I can change the title but I figured it would help anyone else who is...
Maybe, but I still feel cheated and want to explore my options, especially because the majority of their competitors are enrolled and have been for some time.
The only leverage they have on me is the earlier receipt date. The only question is whether I want to wait or just pull the trigger...

I hope so. I have a 2016 CRV and 2010 Miata, so I don't NEED the mustang yet, but I was going to give the CRV to the wife to carry our newborn.
My build date is 2.15.2021.
I prefer Wondries to be honest - locally owned, convenient, and I like their service mechanics. But seriously, they do...
I am in Los Angeles and Wondries Ford is my dealer. I have emailed them but they don't seem very interested in joining. If they don't, can I change my dealer or would I have to do another reservation and order?
I know and a mustang too so they want some styling cues but it's also a more expensive ride that focuses on some practicality. It's just that it is aiming too much to be a tesla with ford fusion hardware when they could have done a few things to make it look brand new.
I always believed the minor costs it takes to use soft touch plastics is worth the overall upgraded feel of the cabin. Every car review mentions when the buttons feel plasticky or cheap. I remember when I first sat in a vw and touched the velvety plastic door pulls and thinking man this feels...
