This writer believes that Ford will shut down BC entirely for some period of time as there appears to be a serious problem with the software. The money they are going to spend to settle the lawsuits is way more than what they were collecting from us on our subscriptions. Since my BC has not...
You're not on Blue Cruise. You're running on adaptive cruise control with lane centering. There's likely a blue bubble showing around your car on the dash screen.
I'm in your shoes with 41,000 miles and extended warranty. At three years old, this is the worst interior I have ever experienced with a new car. My wife's 2017 GMC Acadia interior (131,000 miles) still looks new with zero cracks. Terrible quality on the light-colored upholstery.
While quieter ride and better handling might be nice, I'm at 41,000 and going strong on my OEM Michelin Primacy. The CrossClimate 2 are a way better tire in the Tirerack ratings, but will I get 41,000+ on these? Only getting 20,000 miles on a set of tires is totally unacceptable for this driver.
I'm in the same boat. Paid my $600 for BC and it doesn't work. Told by Ford that they are working on it, BUT no specific timeline. I've thought about fighting them with my AMEX since they haven't delivered my product (that used to work).
For at least two years I had BC working fine in my car. When I paid my subscription fee (and for no apparent reason) I no longer have BC. I have on Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering. I must keep my hands on the wheel. My dashboard used to notify me that BC was available--do not...
I renewed my Job 1 subscription on January 3. It shows that I have BC through 2027. BUT, I don't have BC working on my car. So I am out $600.00 and have no idea when they will fix it via OTA. Right now i'm screwed.
I have a 2021 MME and enjoyed BC for over a year. Now that I paid my $600.00 for three years, I have no Blue Cruise. Just got off phone with In Vehicle Tech and was told Ford is aware but no date given as to when it will return. What gives?
I have a job1 car so Ford wants to charge me $200/yr for three years ($600.00 now). I would probably go for $200 if I could pay it each year. All up front--not going to happen.
My MME clunks when the car is cold. After I drive for awhile, the noise stops. With temperatures in the low 40's, the noise is unmistakable when I start out. But after 20 minutes of driving, I don't hear it any more. I wonder what is mechanically going on? Am I damaging something, or just...
You're in the best state to fight this. Share details with the attorney general of the state. Also, pound on social media. Finally reach out to TV station for story. Negative media is likely your strongest card to play.
Just called my dealer who performed the recall on June 30. It still doesn't show on the NHTSA website, but she told me it takes 30-40 days to get through all the systems (including FDRS).
My VIN is 3FMTK3SU8MMA06636. Can someone see whether or not my dealer did the HVBJB fix? The paperwork said they did; the NHTSA site says it didn't. Thanks.
