I’m happy to blame Tesla. Mine was bumped May to June and that’s fine.
I haven’t seen anyone say they had a later initial estimate get bumped. I.e. Sept. to Oct.
They've made it less so by minimizing the utility buy back of your excess power. Now you almost have to have a local battery to have 100% coverage. Before, the utility was your battery.
In my town, I didi the permit paperwork (which confused the city because, as others have said, it's usually the contractor.) The contractor gave me a break on his fee because I did it. :-) I did the paperwork concurrent with the work. Inspection came after it was done.
I'll see multiple Teslas at every stop light around town. The GF has told me to quit pointing out other MMEs as they're much less rare these days. Who knew; lowering the price increased sales.
Right? I've never owned one, but my impression of all the Sporty McSport cars is that you get all kinds of info on the dash. Tachometer, oil pressure, etc. The EV equivalent is what you mention.
We get the occasional hail here in sunny CA. In my case last Thursday. Luckily the car was in the garage... (Luckily, I have a garage.)
Once, my sister, then living in IL had her cars totaled by a hail storm.
