I have driven my '21 SR AWD virtually problem free since March '21, barring one time when the main Sync 4 display blacked out on me. The Customer Satisfaction SW update fixed all of that for me, but now I can say that I have experienced my first "real" issue...
It's been about ~15 degrees F...
I have had my car since March, and had never once gotten the blank center screen.... until today. It freaked me out a little bit, but I knew I had a few recalls to do (Phone as a key, Customer Satisfaction 21P22, etc.) so I just dropped it off at the dealer to have them look at it / perform...
I also went with the Grizzl-E 40A Classic and could not be happier with it. Sprung for the longer 24ft "premium" charging cable and mounted it to a NEMA 14-50 right outside the garage.
P.S. Now that the cable is "trained", I swear it looks a lot neater than this ?
Thanks for the heads-up, as it definitely sounded too good to be true.
I still want to hear what they have to say when they come out for a consultation. I'll keep everyone posted.
I live in Northern NJ and was recently approached by a solar company (Trinity) about doing a no-cost installation of solar panels on my roof, which is funded by NJ's "Societal Benefits Charge". This charge is something we all inadvertently pay to NJ via our electric bills (google it). @timbop...
I have been using Google Maps on Android Auto to get the turn-by-turn directions in the "instrument cluster" screen. To your knowledge, does this work with Waze on Android Auto as well?
I was a big time Wazer in the past, but I have been very impressed so far with Google Maps in the MME and I...
I ended up going with a gray silicone-type license plate cover for the rear plate on my Carbonized Gray Mach-E. I'm very happy with it.... fits the plate snugly and it matches the exterior color quite well!
Here is the Amazon link if anyone is interested ($14.99)...
Thanks for getting back to me, I might give them a shot (my previous car was a 2018 Fusion!). Hopefully they hold up well despite only have the top two threaded holes for the plates doing all the "heavy lifting" of keeping this against the rear hatch. I don't want to have to drill 2 additional...
Hey shadows.... Fellow Jerseyan here, just wondering how you made out with your padded license plate protection.
I'm looking for a solution myself for the rear license plate specifically. With only two holes currently in place on my rear hatch and no frame or bracket, I'm wondering what...
Thanks Johnny.... that should end up being my exact MSRP as well, so I will use that as a guide. Mine is also a SR AWD Premium (w/X-plan).... and also Carbonized Gray to boot!
Thanks for suggesting this website! I plan on going with Ford Options to finance my MME, which limits me to putting 30% down toward the price. My current vehicle is a 2018 Fusion Sport with about 30k miles on it. Here are the trade-in evaluations I have received so far:
Ford Dealer (where I...
Congrats to just make it under the wire of the 3/15 deadline! I am less than a week out now myself, and still no tracking updates from the dealer or palsapp. I'm still holding out hope, but facing the facts that it probably will not arrive by Monday. I might have to bail on this MME and place...
Thanks for all of the helpful info Tim. I actually spoke to my salesperson Keung and he said that they would just cut me a check for the difference if I decided to trade in my car with a higher value than 30% of my Mach-E MSRP (which I believe is $50,800 after destination, if that counts) ?.
@pooter03.... Fellow NJ buyer eagerly awaiting delivery here (EST 3/16 to 3/22). Unfortunately, generaltso is correct.... we need to receive our cars by March 15th to be able to receive the $5000 Charge Up NJ rebate, otherwise the program with not start back up again until July 2021.
