  1. Model 3 Highland Performance now with 2.9 0-60 and magnaride'ish

The 2.9 sec. 0-60 is cute but, really, after the first week, how often do normal people care? And I will never buy a car with such a plain interior. Boring…
  2. Paying Our Fair Share of Highway Taxes [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Please explain further what you mean by "fair share". Many different views on that concept.
  3. Paying Our Fair Share of Highway Taxes [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Common sense easy, politically hard. Like most things. Grim though it may be.
  4. Paying Our Fair Share of Highway Taxes [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Because many states do incent buyers through tax credits, etc. I understand some states may be different.
  5. Paying Our Fair Share of Highway Taxes [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Fact 1: It is true that BEV's do not pay any road taxes in most states. Fact 2: Users of electricity to charge these vehicles also pay no dedicated road taxes. Fact 3: On average, BEV's weigh more than comparable ICE cars. Fact 4: State governments should incent drivers to move to BEV's, or...
  6. Driver profile Q

My wife and I have set up two driver profiles on our '23 Premium. The last couple of times we have driven the car (each with our own key, and not the other in the car), the settings do not reset to the saved ones on the correct key. I'm primarily referring to seat and mirror positions and 1PD...
  7. Storm Clouds ahead for used BEV values

Exactly why I leased mine! If worth less that buyout, turn it in.
  8. Goodbye 1st Edition, Hello Mediocrity

Absolutely nothing wrong with a used Bolt; I've had a Bolt for four years, and still love it for around town, commuter-type use.

  10. HVB Charge limit setting

Sorry to be clueless, but I can't find the method for setting the Mach-E's charge limit to 80-85%. Thanks for the info.
  11. August 2023 incentives?

Based on my experience, at least in Central CT, way too much inventory. The dealer we ordered from has 13 Mach-E's in stock, some dating back to build dates of 1/31/23! Must be bigger incentives coming.
  12. August 2023 incentives?

Any news on new August incentives for our cars?
  13. Error in order

We ordered a 23 Mach-E premium in early June and it was built last week. However, the build was wrong, since somehow Ford added the extended range battery for $7,000. Anyone have a similar experience, or have thoughts on how to handle this? I'm not paying the $7 grand. Thinking we'll have to...
  14. Oversupply? Are EV’s struggling to sell?

Probably not quite there, but $38-40K would be pretty good, considering the overall car market today.
  15. Oversupply? Are EV’s struggling to sell?

I'm hoping for that to be the next shoe to drop within a few weeks. The inventories probably warrant such a move.
  16. Oversupply? Are EV’s struggling to sell?

What are people currently seeing for prices on Premium Mach E's? My dealer in CT quoted $4,500 off MSRP on a Premium that has been in stock for two months.
